Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I like it. The faculty of this college is both well-learned and with a ratio of 1:16 students. They have good teaching skills as well. Most of them are from IITs. 4 Exams are conducted per semester, and the End sem exam is controlled by ASTU.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is very good. In the first year, we have to do Social Internship, in the second year we have to do an academic internship in IITs or other colleges, and in the third year, industrial internship.
Placement Experience
The students are generally available for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like ONGC, BALCO, etc recruit a large number of students. The average package is around 10LPA and the highest package is around 20LPA. Every year, almost 80% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
You get access to avail of any scholarship offered under the NEP Scholarship portal by the Government of India. The annual tuition fee is around 15000 excluding hostel fees, There is a one-time hostel admission fee which is around 10000. The semester exam fee is around.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Pyrokinesis is the annual fest that is organized every year. Artists from different states and different countries come here to perform. It is conducted generally in February month. The classroom facilities are very good, and it also provides sports and tracurricular activities.
Admission
You have to Crack the Assam CEE entrance test. The form for the examination is available on ASTU Website. You have to score above 75% on your boards in PCM and English. Generally, the examination is conducted in the month of May-June.
