Remarks

Overall Great experience and made my career. working with esteemed organization now

Entrance Preview

I did HSC with 89 percentile, Got 164 rank. I stood 17th in University for BE Production. Got a government free seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very exhaustive and better managed covering most of the production stuff. labs and classes were managed well. our HOD really was a calm person and like his way of dealing with students. Production stream is almost mix of management topics and mechanical topcis. good coverage to work in indusrties

Internships Opportunities

yes, I was recruited thru college in Mahindra and Mahindra through campus. Was a GET for year and then got absorbed in Mahindra

Placement Experience

3.5

Really well managed. Good co-ordination. Got places in Mahindra with stipend before my results were announced. I mean so faith from organizations like mahindra to our college. Most of my colleagues as well got placed. In mahindra also lot of folks from my production batch. And from my previous batch also

College Events

3.5

Annual events, sports cultural events used to happen. most of us participate in tat i was part of table tennis team, had good play area in college.' and games to play in college. enjoyed the social life with college friends. was open to play in surtounded areas grounds as well

Fee Structure And Facilities

feasible as i got a free seat from government quota. i was lucky to pay 4000 rs tution fees per year. i mean for paid it was 36000 rs. i mean i am from lower middle class family. i would have not got admission through pay seat as i would have not afforded taht amount

Fees and Financial Aid

loan facilties was there. but as my fees were 4000 rs and get books from library not much inverstement was expected taht time

Campus Life

3.5

campus was good, all stream student. and we were knowing each other was our first year was not as per stream. gender: 5 % females in my production stream as this was kind of mechanical stream so less female extracurricular,- was good labs, sports, competition were healthy

Hostel Facilities

3

mess food was okay. i use to carry most of the my food. snack s were good. hostels were there for outside people. it was community college, but never faced issues anytime open to all culture and food habits. surounding areas alos had good hotels. never stayed in hostel as mumbai kar

Alumni/Alumna

yes...as i said our seniors were placed in mahindras. got to know good tings from them. guidance from them on stduies

Exam Structure

It was managed through university of mumbai. Mean all regularized. Vivas were conducted by external faculties coming from other colleges. really good experience and way to get good results for college. Even the exam control and coordination is well managed. never faced any issues while exams..

Admission

Got a government free seat. List was prepared , got admission in 2nd round. It was a centralized process for maharashtra , and was lucky to get free seat. paid 4000 rs fee per year. First round happend in VJTI college. everybody was new to this process at that time and was little confused with process. But Now i think it was a great decision to choose this college and pass with distiniciton in last year.

Faculty

3

Some of the faculties were too good. and most of them are average, i did not do any classing. managed with college an dmy self studies. good labs and other facilitates provided. Professors were friendly.... as this was having diploma college as well, overall staff was good. and experienced. never faced issues with professors anytime

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
