A great journey

Management was good. They used to take care of our needs. But sometimes we had to fight with them for what we wanted. The negative part is that the fees deadlines were very stringent. Fine was imposed on late payment. Library management was very good. We have borrowed many books and saved money instead of buying them. The management was good, but there is always a scope of improvement.

GAT Exam. I got a good rank, I visited the campus and liked it. Moreover, placement record was very good. So I joined without hesitation

We have e-learning portal called x-learn. We can access course content from it, uploaded by the faculty. Also, we can know our test dates, marks etc from the portal. Attendance percentage also can be viewed here. The course structure is on par with the requirement of the industry. The curriculum unknowingly made is to match the standards of the industry.

Yes. The college provides permission to do a month of internship in any relevant company. This helps the students to understand the organisation of any industry. The exposure to an industry is a great experience that helped us a lot when we started our career.

Almost every student who is eligible is placed from the campus recruitment. However if we choose not to attend the campus recruitment’s and go for higher studies, the university always encouraged us for that. The companies visited in our year were amazon, Deloitte Accenture Tcs Wipro tech Mahindra Verizon and many more.

We had fests twice an year. We had cultural nights, parties and meetings with seniors. Here were technical fests too. We had a huge knowledge exchange between the students due to this. GUSAC was the name of the activity center where all these were planned. Workshops were also conducted

The fee structure was expensive to be frank. But there were loans and scholarships for students parents with monthly income less than a certain threshold. Though it was expensive the infrastructure was worth it. We had a good time in these four years and I feel that it is worth every penny we spent.

Scholarship was offered to students with good academic record and those who had poor family background. I have never availed any because my fathers income was above the threshold set by the college. My friend availed it and was happy for that.

The campus life is magnificent. Gender ratios were almost 1:1. If we include all the branches. Extracurricular activities were also organised well. I created a line following robot in my 3rd year. So you will never be disappointed with extra curricular activities in the college. There were cultural groups in the college but we were united when any problem comes.

I was a day scholar so I am less aware of hostel facilities but as far as I heard from my friends the food was great and the hostels were neat and tidy. WiFi newspapers tv play area are some basic facilities available. There was no problem of water and electricity too. The quality of facilities were very good.

We had an interaction with alumni in the alumni meet. This helped us to understand and improve ourselves to match the industry standards. Also they guides us for our career. Alumni interaction is simply fantastic. It was a great experience to meet the well settled seniors and interact with them.

We have internal and external exams. Lab exams were frequent as it is continuous evaluation. Other exams were conducted once in a month or so. We never felt them as burden. It was easy to clear the exams provided one attended the classes regularly. The day was neither too hectic nor very chilled

We have to write GAT Exam. Counseling is conducted and seats are allotted based on the rank. The best rank gets his or her chosen branch without any hassle. Low rankers may or may not get the desired branch. The process is done on pre intimated dates. No change of dates is entertained. Students are taken based on merit.

The faculty are good, polite and helpful. They are friendly with us, both in academics and personally. We are free to talk to them regarding any matter. They taught us discipline and the decorum of industry along with the subject. It’s a very good journey along with the faculty.
