Remarks

Isn't any discrimination there but people with kanada as there first language have a step ahead in some cases

Entrance Preview

Comed- 3150 Because this college has decent placement and good opportunities to explore though the studies are old fashion. They style of education is same old fashion where you go class attend

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Very less. They have very opd fashion of study. The syllabus itself hasn't been updated from long. Though the placement are good for it jobs. You have to attend classes and have minimum number of attendance to give final exams. Very strict with attendance, marking system is decent. You get no option question in paper like other colleges in Bangalore

Internships Opportunities

Not really. Though you can work as intern in CORE which is research center of pesit. It is difficult to get i to because many people apply at once

Placement Experience

4.5

IT job opportunity is very good considering the number of students in the college. Though core job opportunity is less but if you have it in you, you can get into core jobs as well. Placements starts after 3rd year end and continue till last day of the college. You need to grab the opportunity which are good otherwise you might end up in low paying jobs

College Events

3

Not many. But a 2 day annual festival is there. You can enjoy as it is good not the best though in Bangalore we have many colleges who's budget for annual festival is higher than that of pesit. Other than this there are events like marathon run for martians

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was 1.5l per annum for admission from comed-k and onpy around 40k for cet exam. Now it is 2.5l per annum and it is very expensive. As the life style in Bangalore itself is expensive you can add more into this as part of curriculum itself. There are better college available

Fees and Financial Aid

There aren't many scholarship kind of thing but if you go talk to high post people and you are good in your studies you might get some cut off from the fee.. But as such there isn't any. They do have annual reward system but not scholar ship kinda thing

Campus Life

4

Gender ration, probably more boys than girl. In percentage it would be 65 to 35 ration. 65 being boys. It is quit diverse as people from other part of the country comes in the college in good numbers. You have a proper cricket ground. You can find a small football ground too

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Food considering the quality of an hostel is good... You get both north and south Indian food available. Girls hostel is outside the campus and bus facility is given to girls for commute. They have different blocks as per your convenience. You can take any of them

Alumni/Alumna

There isn't much activities considering alumni meets but they do call on regular interval most people dont show up as they are busy with own life.

Exam Structure

You need to prepare well to pass in exam as it is very different from other colleges. You get only 5 question with no option which is not the case in any other college where they get 8 question out of which they need only 5 to attend. Each question has sub question and main 5 question have weight age of 20 marks each

Admission

By giving comed-k. Score decent marks to get into the college. Now they have there own exam called pessat which is quite easy and they have increased the fee to 2.5l pa as they university now. Admission process is simple they guide you to each step. I had to go to nmkrv college for comed-k process then to college for admission, once comed-k give you allotment letter you can go and have admission but now the allotment itself is available in college itself

Faculty

2.5

Decent. Not every professor is researcher. As i said it is focusing on more on curricular rather than research or development. Teachers have decent knowledge on there domain. You can find good professor but to work under them is challenging... They don't really take students that easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
