Remarks

The atmosphere of our college is well good. we have all facilities provided by management. But there is no appropriate placement, internship, and scholarship. My college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. There have been, and there will continue to be, many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my craft as a result of my time in school, which I am truly thankful for.

Entrance Preview

Appeared for Kerala Entrance exam KEAM. Qualified in that exam and got admission in this big institution.During admission process there was an interview and later choose this branch. I would like to take Civil Engineer from teens itself. I am so curiosity to how building are developing so I prefer for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Certainly happy with this course. Now I came to know how to draw plan of building. Sometimes we visit some field are file out the sculpture the area. After seeing this file we may taught about how to design a building.

Internships Opportunities

Our college are not providing any internship. Some company visits us to have some workshop classes.

Placement Experience

2.5

The objective of the Training and Placement Cell is to help the students identify their career goals and provide an edge into the present day competitive job market. The scope of work of Placement Cell extends from organizing workshops to providing internships to students in various organizations during summer breaks and preparing students for the final placements. P.A College of Engineering endeavour to enable our students to move forward confidently; to embrace change rather than follow; to innovate rather than remain stagnant, and to initiate rather than respond and thereby to become competent managers and dynamic entrepreneurs in a rapidly changing economic and industrial environment.

College Events

2.5

PACE Fest is conducted every year in the campus, where the students get an opportunity to exhibit their talent. AESTUS 2K16 fest consisted of more than forty events which included both Technical & Non-Technical and cultural events. Technothon is an inter-collegiate technical fest conducted every year at college campus. it was based on tested the skills of participants in coding, design, creativity, general knowledge and paper presentation. Over 400 participants from various Engineering colleges have taken part in this fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is different for different department. Proper education is one of the main factors for a progressing nation. With the increasing cost of living, education cost also increases. We have different course such as Electronic and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Fee structure for these trade are different in different quotes, it is approximately comes between 50,000 - 2 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not provide any Scholarship or loan facilities students were avail to government education loan

Campus Life

4.5

Along with strengthening the academic background of the students, PACE also strives on their overall development and exposure. Each department has formed associations or forums which conducts various seminars, workshops, industry visits and exhibitions. Such associations also arranges talks by eminent personalities across various industries and thus help the students to be in line with the latest trends and opportunities in the area and thus play a major role in the overall development of the students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel life is cherish. Its an unbelievable life.hostel life is the opportunity of free communion and intimate relationship between young men of the same age. They belong to different families ,having different habits, manners and views of life. This provides a good chance for a hostel student to learn from others and to pick their good habits and manners. It also enables him to have a good understanding of different human nature and human minds. The student learns to understand his room-mates and to behave with them in a befitting manner. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls within the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Association at our college seems to be very weak. Apart from my relatives, I have no club of those who've studied or passed out before me. The College doesn't provide any platform to help us mingle wit the seniors or juniors. Nor does it allow freshers day at the start of the academic year.

Exam Structure

Examination aim at judging student’s knowledge in a specific time frame. The aim of exam should be to equip the students for the tough battle of life. It should help to build their character and personality. It should widen their sphere of knowledge and qualify them for employment.

Faculty

4

The method of teaching and assessment needs to be overhauled. It should be designed keeping in mind a healthy, inspiring and joyful process of learning for the students . Students require a less burdensome and stressful but enjoyable and refreshing experience of learning.

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
