Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course, cause this course had the best of both, tech and finance in terms of opportunities. Data has been something I have been interested in. The Faculty-student ratio is good, there is 1 teacher per 30 students and that's excluding all the head professors. The Faculty have a very meddling to high calibre depending on the years of experience. The exams have ample time and it's relatively easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship companies will be arriving soon, but not yet. Still accoridng to my info every major company arrives, so if you got the techie in you and you know your code, you can do it. Mast internship karo and Bandi wandi banao, life chill hain.

Placement Experience

5

From 5th sem onwards , the intern season kicks off and thus the rat race begins. This race goes on and on till the 8th sem. The companies visited DTU are Amazon, google, microsoft, palantir, sprinkler etc The highest international package of 2023 is 1.8 cr and domestic package is 64.3 lakhs. The Highest was offered by Palantir internationally and Amazon by Domestic. The Avg package was 15.16 lakhs. DTU boasts a high placement rate for the like of majority getting placed in good companies Working a few years in a tech startup or big company and then off for an adventure of a life time

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees has been hiked to a very high degree than before and its kinda difficult to manage whilst its reputation is of a government college. This is quite a shock to new students believing it to be a Government college so how does the fees ramp up so much, still there is much renovation and development of infrastructure done to justify the costs. There are 3 types of scholarships, one the National scholarship scheme, The E district one and one scholarship that the college avails itself.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest, Engifest occurs in the even semester of the year and is a big one. All of Delhi youth crowd is available there. Its the time, when everyone is jovial. The air is reeking joy and artists, ceos, entrepreneurs everything are available to interact, game nights, vehicle showdown, everything not related to study happens. The annual tech fest also happens just before the Engifest, brilliant people meet up there in all showdowns of tech, hackathon, quizzes, robot wars everything happens. Books, journals, previous papers etc available in the library well maintained. The classrooms have spacious desks and seats, the newer buildings have even better amenities. The sports complex is huge in size and all amenities for every sport is available except for swimming. Various clubs are there, DTU students make more societies than any other thing, Pratibimb is the drama soc, Kalakriti is the art society, Sahitya is the literary society etc etc

Admission

The admission process is through Jee Mains entrance examination, and then we got to apply through the JAC selection the process is similar to JOSAA, filling the required seats according to wants and score achieved. The application is completely online and can be done easily. Reservation is available for the majority of Delhi students as well as relaxation for students belonging to various minorities. It would be much better if there is a dedicated helpline to be assigned to students outside of the state in order to help with the different beuracratic work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
