I chose this course as I already had an interest towards it. Faculty-student ratio changes according to branches and courses, so I'm gonna take an example of my batch, my batch has around 75 per section so the faculty is like one for 75 students per course per lecture. Faculty qualification also differs according to the course and seniority of the batch, it's good overall. Examinations were mostly on time but they were hard to pass.

There are various companies in DTU which offer internships but one has got to study a lot for that, otherwise, there is always an option of an off-campus internship. I've not participated in any internship yet so not much about this.

Placements in DTU are like top tier if you've got potential and you work hard enough, we get so many opportunities here. The highest packages have gone in Crores per annum. As such no percentage is provided by the college to how many students get placements. My plan after the degree is to pursue my dream to crack UPSC Examinations.

The fee structure changes from time to time but currently its somewhere around 2,00,000 INR per year for B.tech students, then there is the hostel fee which is around 35,000 INR per semester and the mess fee which is around 3,500 INR per month. There are various scholarships available for financially poor students and physically disabled students and all those notices are announced by the college itself on the college website.

Life at the campus was fantastic until the last VC changed and students got many restrictions but considering them too it is alright for now, students were allowed in and out of the college all night they were allowed to play in the ground at night, and all these things are now restricted. On the other hand clubs and societies of DTU are amazing, everyone gets their chance there and one can really fulfil their hobby or passion or dream here, as they've got many different tech societies, art societies, dance societies as well as music clubs. In the matter of Infrastructure, I will not hesitate to say that it has the best infrastructure in Delhi after IITD.

I had to appear in JEE Mains Examination to be eligible for admission to DTU, anyone willing to find and go through the information, forms and dates of the examination can look on to NTA official website under JEE Exams Section. Reservation played an important role in my admission, so apply the suitable certificates if have got any also DTU is in NCR so if the student is a resident of Delhi or has passed his senior secondary from Delhi, he/she may apply for State Quota too.
