- What is best in sohm IUU is faculties . They put lots of effort.
- Campus life is energetic. there will be not a single day without any event.
- Placement ratio in HM is 100 % only thing is we need to prepare a bit.
Dislikes
- Exams of course, but that too ok as its important to let us know about our progress.
- Area is amazing you will be residing at the foothills so bit expensive in terms of accommodation.
- Transport facility by university is great. but outside university , the public transport is challenging.
Course Curriculum Overview
Hospitality is one of the growing sectors in the world, I love to travel and cook so I decided to convert my passion into my profession. I was lucky to get a seat in So BHM, IUU. Teachers are very professional with international experience. They guided me throughout my 4 years journey and are mentoring me till now.
Internships Opportunities
I had been trained at the Oberoi wildflower Shimla, it was a great experience where not only I learned about the basics of all four major departments but also learned about the advance. I met many Bollywood stars during my training and got an opportunity to serve Virat Kohli and Anushka.
Placement Experience
I had 2 jobs in my hand while I passed out. I chose to work in The Oberoi hotels in the F&B Service department. I am now working in France too because of my great start with one of the best chain hotels in India.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are from Uttarakhand you might land up to some scholarship benefits. Wards of army personnel and if you secured above 90 percentile in 12th, believe me, the university offers amazing scholarships.
Campus Life
Life in So BHM and IMS is now a souvenir, we had many theme lunches, and the practicals were great. Lamhe our techno fest was something we would have been waiting for throughout the year. Chef comps, bartending comp, and other comps are always organized and makes you ready for the industry.
Admission
Admission was done on the basis of an online Interview with a panel of three professors. The interview was amazing where I was asked questions to check my attitude, communication and body language, and my confidence.
Interview Experience
There was an online interview with 3 members of the panel. I was asked questions like - my ideal, my reason to pursue HM and compare with any animal. The interview was to access my body language, communication, and attitude.
