- Faculties are very generous and well behaved , always ready to help and assist students, some faculties are not good but rest are very good.
- Infrastructure is one of the best in the state , there is too much student s for doing any kind of activity like playing any sport
- Students or mates are very kind and knowledgeable, with good sense of humor and decent etiquette
Dislikes
- security in the university is on of the big concern, as there are many incidents took place in the campus the security is increased nowadays
- Administration is the also not so good as they do not behave properly with the students even the security guards try to confuse
- Labs are not equipped well and the lab assistants do not give proper instruction or try to help students
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the students did not get courses of their choice but the curriculum of this college allows students to take subjects of their choice which they need to pass also to score the credit and complete their degree, Number of faculty in each department is good but in some branches, faculties teach subjects which they don't even know, otherwise most of the faculty is highly qualified with a lot of knowledge. when it comes to engineering we all know almost every month there is some exam like mid sem end sem or internal, so students usually did not get much time to study and throughout the 4 years there are a lot of examinations
Placement Experience
Placement is quite impressive, big companies come to hire students and provide decent packages, average package each year is above 15 lpa whereas the highest package goes like 1.1 to 1.2 crores. Companies like Google Facebook sprinkler morgan stanly and goldman sachs provide very high packages, and most of the students get places if we talk about numbers around 80% of students get offers from the companies and the rest choose to study further or get placed in off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to me, the fee is very high as for some branches like MAM there are very less placement opportunities and still the university charges a large amount of fee which is equal for all the branches, also every year there is a fee hike of around 10000-15000, also the fee structure is not very satisfactory as the tuition fee is around 60% of the total fee and rest 40% goes to extra things, There are many scholarships available for the students offered by the university and also state government provides some scholarships.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is quite electrifying there are always a lot of activities going on all the time but mainly the most exciting time is the time when the fest starts in which many celebrities come to perform, Engifest is the most exciting or say the biggest fest of the college or the north India. Also, there are many societies working in different fields and they recruit students each year, students can go into the library in their free time where books are available according to the stream, also there is scope for sports NCC, etc.
Admission
Admission process was easy, one with above 60% in their 12th standard and have scored good percentile in the JEE can apply for counseling. Counselling for DTU is done through JAC Delhi,To apply for DTU or NSUT students can fill form of JAC ,everything related to the admission and all the querries can be resolved on the site of DTU which is dtu.ac.in . Students can also avail reservations as some of the seats are reserved for different categories and also for some categories the cutoff is low.
