Likes

I like my college environment its calm and student friendly.
I liked Hostel facilities provided by the university.
I like the library as it have various books and a very effective and nice environment.

Dislikes

I don't like about university us that fees is too high for a middle class student.
Internet and wifi are not provided in Hostels for many times.
Mote extra curriculum activities should be introduced.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a lawyer in the future or engage myself in a law firm as Dibrugarh University provides a BALLB degree under the university. That is the reason for me to choose these courses. Around 350 students and more than 15 facilities are there. Our faculties are all law graduates with LLB and LLM degrees and also smell are with their Ph.D. Degree semester-based exams and it's not such difficult to pass if u r interested in those subjects.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are no such companies I think which provide internship opportunities or placement students go for internships in law firms and NGOs. Moot court facilities are provided for students of the Center for juridical studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship opportunities are provided by state and central government under these courses as it is a professional courses. But in university, there are not such jobs as I am unaware of that if anything like that is there.

Campus Life

The well maintained and well-equipped library is there in our Centre and also a central Library is there will most availability of books in the university. Every year sports weekend is conducted and many students get selected for the state level.

Hostel Facilities

Our rooms are provided with light fans and podiums. etc. and the Hostel has to be applied with the college admission form itself and the selection process of Hostel seats is on merit bases. An application should be provided for hostel admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 21600 per year

Admission

This course can be applied by a student who has passed HS or +2 Examination, application form will be provided on the university website online form fill-up is available. ST, SC, and EWS get reservation benefits.

A Grounded College Experience

Placement Experience:

To be honest, I don't know much about the placement mechanism at my University. Most of the students mainly go for LLM, either in India or abroad. Other than this, some go fo judiciary examination. In terms of campus placement, every year, on average, 15 students get placed out of the strength of around 60 students. Students, on the other hand, secure placement on their end too. My plans after getting the degree are to first practice in court, and then attempt the judiciary examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my family influenced me to opt for this course BaLLB. In this course the more you do practical the more you will learn it's not like study hard do that score good results. This course is basically upon your hardwork how much effort you could give . There is no need for improvement in teaching methods you just need a good lawyer for internship and learn the basics. But this exam frequency is quite high Guwahati University finish 1 semester in 2 months..

An honest confession

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in this field as it's a very interesting field as we get to know a lot of different cases and problems which are shut down from our daily life. However in my course of time , the curriculum that we have is not helping us to be prepared for our future practice as the faculty members don't have great knowledge of what they are teaching as well as we are not provided with any specific notes. We are not even given assignments which will make us active more.

B.A.LL.B(h) is an integrated program of 5 years for students who are willing to take an entire law career. The teaching faculty of my college is well experienced and impart knowledge in a very creative and different way. The class of 120 students has been divided into iinto60 sections each. Facts about my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum surrounding our course is very helpful for any law student. The teachers are very friendly but the teaching could be better if they do it in English since not all students understand the native language of Assam. Two exams and one assignment were given to us during the semester. The exams were moderate, not so hard neither easy to crack, if you study properly anyway you will pass.

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.
