Everything is nice , lush green campus , co curriculum activities are there including sports and music.
Each and every sports facilities are there.

Dislikes

Nothing to be disliked is there in the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course as I am from the PCB stream and like to study biology and also wanted to join the medical field. The faculty of the college are very nice and cooperative. Their qualifications are above Mpharm and also many are Ph.D. In b.pharma 3 exams are there 2 midterm and 1 end term. They and easy if you study well.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, root analysis, Cipla, etc. companies are there. They offer roles like production management, analysis of medicine, etc. stipend depends on your work and your qualifications for example 15000.

Placement Experience

After 3 years students become eligible for placement. Many companies visit every year. Some of the companies are, Cipla, sun pharma, dr. Reddy, root analysis, etc. The highest package was 8 lakh. 100% of students are placed. My plans are to join any research and development company and there after completing my Mpharm and Ph.D.

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual fee of the program Is 120000 but after you qualify LPUNEST exam you can get a scholarship of up to 50%. Scholarships are also there for Neet and Jee rankers. Financial assistance is also there in the form of a loan or fee submission date extension.

Campus Life

Many fests are organized from time to time in the university, many dignitaries also arrive here for fests or music concerts. Many singers come here for concerts and actors also arrive here for movie promotion. The classroom Is also nice for studying with well-equipped AC and fans. Even all the labs are well equipped with all the chemicals and all the machinery. All the course books are available in the library of the department.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy , the eligibility of the course was 60% + in PCB/PCM stream . I was fulfilling the eligibility so I applied for the entrance exam . They took the exam called LPUNEST in which I got 328 out of 400 and I got 28% scholarship. There after I paid the fees and also booked the residential facilities . The admission form can be easily found at lpu.in website. You can scholarship via neet/ jee and also army family.

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

I think, the campus is being liked by everyone whether its staff member or a student, because the university consists of many blocks or departments and that too are named as A1, A2, A3, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 & C1, C2, C3 & D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7,D8
Parks and all are made for the relaxation purpose of the student
Car Parkings are available separately for the students and staff and that also inside the campus which is ambitious.

Dislikes

The semester fees and other expenses is relatively higher as compared to other institutions
Some students find the university’s rule such as strict attendance policies and accurate timings for the classes, quite stringent
Mostly 2 common times, one is in morning nearby 8.50 AM to 9.50 AM and in evening nearby 3.50 PM to 5.00 PM, the rush is like horses and buffaloes! There is so much over crowded & most of the crowd occurs by the Autos, but no one do anything for that

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to get into this college is 10+2 pass with Science subjects. Admission is made through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar followed by counseling process. I applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter directly and then went ahead with the admission procedure.

College is best and the location of the college is also good. But the teachers and the staff should be more creative to run a college. I can give 6 rating out of 10 to the college. It can be better if given more attentiveness

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Good words for the college is that the teaching faculty is very good if I see. Otherwise bad words for this college is that. Half of the classes are so big and students in the class are more than 60 so the teacher can teach properly to them.i would say to divide the students according to their marks like section-wise.

Totally it was good to be a student of here and if I have to give a remark then I will only say that I am now earning 35000 per month in a multinational company. But it's not a matter of how much you are earning its matter of education in which this college is giving its best.
