- Campus life is amazing at DTU. Ragging free environment is provided along with the helping seniors.
- Students can follow their passion along with the studies by joining the societies in college which help student a lot in character development.
- Placements are really good in campus. Almost all students get placed with minimum package of 4 to 6 lakh.
Dislikes
- The wifi network can be improved at in some classes the wifi doesn't work and it's hectic to follow class.
- The lab facilities can also be improved a bit as sometimes some instruments doesn't work or are unavailable in labs which cause a big problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most faculty members are great and always help you to move forward and understand you while 1 in 10 is ruthless and has no interest in students' future. The student ratio is quite weird in engineering colleges, especially in core branches. Exams help twice the semester along with viva and lab tests and project presentations and lots of assignments.
Internships Opportunities
Xeno intern, Glaztower, Kohbee Technologies, Microsoft, Adobe, Bikano, JK Tyre and industries and a number of other companies provide job roles like data analytics, data researcher, operation intern, web developer and many other job opportunities are available.
Placement Experience
The placements are really good thou. The average package is of 4 to 6 lakh while the maximum can be anything sometimes it goes to 1Cr while sometimes more or less but for very limited students. Microsoft, Mitecx, Adobe many MNCs. Around 95 to 96% of students get placed while the remaining ones opt for further studies or to the govt sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is fair according to the quality provided by the professors, also a number of scholarships are provided to the students who need them. Jobs and internships are also provided to the students and internships are open to a large number of students keeping in mind their course.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. DTU has great infrastructure, also a number of fests are held regularly like Yuvaan, Engifest, Aarambh and many others fests too. The fest is free for students along with students from other colleges. Along with fest number of societies are available for the students so that they can indulge in another curriculum rather than just studies like Vibe for dance, Pratibimb, Cosmology Club, and many more. Regular sports competitions are helpful for the sports freek ones.
Admission
I took the entrance exam that was JEE Mains for admission from there I applied via JAC Delhi and got my admission to DTU, via an online process. The process of admission was smooth and even the course is great in DTU. Professors have deep knowledge of their field.
