What Students Say
Likes
- First of all I am so impressed to see the beauty and vastness of the dtu complex.
- Teachers/ faculty is very friendly and have a strong background in their respective course.
- Frequent fests and sports arenas like yuvaan etc
Dislikes
- The population of monkeys on trees in the campus is almost comparable to the students on ground.
- A very disappointing aspect is the fee structure.
- I am not able to get the hostel because my home state is Delhi (distance between dtu and my home is about 45 km).
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very enthusiastic about the electrical engineering field and my grades were better and I got the seat in the first round of seat allocation. Just like all engineering colleges in DTU also girls to boys, the ratio is about 70:1( particularly in my classroom). The faculty is very nice and friendly and provides one-to-one doubt-solving to every student.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I agree, the fees of DTU have increased many folds since the last decade and now per year fees are about 2 lakh ( excluding the hostel facility) My fee structure is roughly the following table: 1 year 190000 2 year 210000 3 year 210000 4 year 210000.
Campus Life
In the JAC I have given the utmost priority to DTU over any other college(including NSUT). Due to its huge campus. The sports complex spreads over acres the whole campus is about 165 acres. Very frequent fests( much better than NSUT).
Admission
We have to qualify for the Jee mains exam and apply for the JAC(joint admission committee). Just like the jee advance, qualified students fill up JOSSA for their admission in top engineering colleges of India(IIT, NIT).
