the course curriculum includes both theory and practical knowledge, we are taught various different things, taught about materials and even the technical terms, we have two electives per semester in which we get to learn a new side of design and we are given a number of options from which we can choose. we are also taken on field trips and given practical knowledge. we are also provided with the machinery knowledge in the college itself. the faculty members are also really knowledgeable and helpful. they are always ready to guide you and bring out the best in you. they help us not only with the college work but also the outside work as well if we ask them to.

the university has tie-ups with the most flourishing companies throughout the globe, but grasping them and convincing the companies about how you can be an asset to their company is in your hands. it's only you who can nail the interviews and take the placements.

students get their placement after the third year to learn about their final project, they are usually unpaid and are just for the knowledge and experience though it varies from person to person. paid placements are provided after the completion of the fourth year and the bachelor's degree. the university has tied up with very renowned companies which helps the students to showcase their skills at the best places possible.

fee structure for interior designing is 4.5 lakhs per annum. the hostel transport and mess fees are excluded. this course is for a duration of 4 years. so the total for the full bachelor's program is 18 lakhs. the college also provides some scholarships for a limited amount of students after testing them and knowing them better. campus jobs are not available as per my knowledge but they do help you with the placements.

campus life is excellent. we have numerous places for refreshing ourselves. students enjoy walking in the football ground in the evening. we have different places like a basketball court, badminton court, football ground, cafeteria, stationary and printing station. social life at KU is what the students love, they all interact with each other, they organize movie nights and sufi nights, standups, and all the talents are showcased. They interact with their peers and student from different departments and institutes. they also have different clubs in which one can participate or be a part such as dance, singing, and drama clubs. The infrastructure over here is also fabulous. it's modern and it's huge. you have tons of places to be at.

the first step was the DAT examination. it included mcq and drawing questions. then we had a personal interview round in which we were asked a few questions regarding us and the course we chose and why we chose that particular course and even our goals and where we saw ourselves in the next five years, what were our dreams. We also had to submit our portfolios and had a portfolio evaluation round.

yes, we had a written test and interview for the admission process. so the written test was known as the design aptitude test. it checks our skills regarding the course and also includes some drawing questions to understand our perspective, drawing quality, and line weights excectra. the interview was a one-to-one session in which the interviewer got to know us more and why we should be selected.
