Course Curriculum Overview

4

If you are from j&k and you want to do engineering then NIT Srinagar should be your first priority if you are not getting any IIT. For other state students, it is good if you are not getting into your home state NIT. Exams are on time, teachers are well qualified, and passing exams is not much easy.

Placement Experience

3

From the 7th sem, students are eligible for placements. Finisar, IBM, ABB, Polarises, Indian Oil, NTPC, BYJUS, ETC. In the 2023 BATCH, the highest is 36 LPA for a CSE graduate and the average is 12 LPA (my assumption after seeing the list). At least 75% get placements. My plan after my degree is to get a placement

Fees and Financial Aid

For ST, SC, and PWD: no tuition fee. For gen/ ews with less than 1 lakh income: no tuition fee. Income 1 lakh- 5 lakh: 20833 per sem tuition fee. Above 5 lakh: 62500 per sem tuition fee. Hostel fee: 8k per sem for all. Mess fee: 20k per sem for all. You can get all national scholarships if u are eligible, Loans are also available

Campus Life

4

Techvaganza an annual fest was organized in the month of June 2023 which had many artists. There are lots of books and research copies in the library that changes accordingly to the need of students. All classes are hi-tech with the latest technology smart boards. The sports facilities are very good but you will not get enough time to play. Semicolon, RoboniX, Soapbox, CESA, etc are clubs.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms are spacious and are having chairs and study tables, electric sockets, closet. Meal quality is good. There is the option of chicken 3 times a Week. You will get hostel easily during physical reporting( btech stds).

Admission

Admission is on the basis of jee mains on nta website jee mains website. 50% of seats are reserved for the home state quota and 50% are reserved for other states. all reservations are valid like in all government exams it is.

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Remarks:

The positive of this college is that the environment is academic friendly and there is a level of strictness maintained by the college authorities. Lack of modern infrastructure and absence of various general and academic facilities hampers the ideal college life of balancing the knowledge and enjoying the college time.
