Likes

Library is quite big compared to any other universities.Its top notch I can say this with confidence.
Food is also so good in the college hostels.
Bouncers are everywhere so ragging is totally avoided

Dislikes

Phones are not allowed in the campus and yeah it has its advantages and disadvantages
The sem runs for only 4 months .but I think it should be 5 months atleast

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to achieve long dreamt goals. The faculty members are very good and they all are well qualified. the teaching method is very good and the faculty-student ratio was 1:25 exams were happen 6 months

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6 semesters itself, students become eligible for campus placements if they are maintaining good grades and have some crazy skills. A lot of companies visit here like Amazon, Adobe, Wipro, etc. , nearly 75% of students get placement among those who are eligible

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is present here. it may or may not increase gradually. I am still studying my b tech here not yet graduated. Until now I didn't experience any fee hikes in future there are high chance for the hike

Campus Life

The annual fest here is named as Mohana mantra. It's named after the founder Dr Mohanbabu. He is a film actor and a famous one though. The classrooms are well-ventilated. sports and other activities are quite good

Admission

Yeah, there was an entrance exam to it and I made a good effort in it. It was a tough one though but I managed to go through easily because of my practice all those days. Staff members also helped me a lot in the process the process went very smooth

The placements of students are managed by VIIT Training and Placement (T & P) cell, guiding the students, being supportive, conducting aptitude and coding sessions time-to-time. Students are eligible to placements from the end of 6th semester. Top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte visit regularly. Packages range from 3.5 - 10 LPA. Highest package was offered by Amazon i.e. 50 LPA, to the CSE graduate. Average package CTC ranges from 4-5 LPA. 85 % of students gets placed. My plans after the degree is not yet decided, I may secure a job or gonna opt for higher studies.

My Experience at Mohan Babu University

I applied to multiple colleges during my admission process, including VIT (AP), SRM AP, KL University, and a few local engineering colleges through AP EAPCET. I received confirmed admission from Mohan Babu University and a couple of tier-2 private colleges, while some higher-ranked universities either had higher cutoffs or much higher fees. I chose Mohan Babu University (MBU) mainly because of its strong infrastructure, disciplined academic environment, and relatively better placement support compared to other colleges where I got admission. While SRM AP and VIT AP had good brand value, their overall fees were significantly higher, including hostel and miscellaneous charges.
