The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

I applied to a few well-known colleges in Gujarat and some private universities outside the state. Most had similar programmes, but Ahmedabad University felt like a better fit because of its flexible curriculum and the chance to explore courses across different schools. Other colleges followed a stricter, exam-heavy structure, while Ahmedabad University focused more on projects, discussion and practical understanding, which matched the way I prefer to learn. Ahmedabad University - Beautiful Campus,

The college accepts scores of JEE mains as well as ACPC (GUJCET + 12th board marks). usually 50% sets for both quotas. 50% of seats through ACPC are occupied by the state counseling process, and 50% of seats through JEE are done by the college itself, in that, they invite for PI but I don't think it matters much, your JEE score will matter in that case. At my time of admission, the cutoff was around 94 pr in jee mains for open-category males. There is no management quota in college....Read More
