Course Curriculum Overview

My course is btech civil engineering in national institute of technology Srinagar. I choose this course because of its very high scope everywhere. we have an excellent faculty of civil engineering at nit srinagar. Our teachers teach us really good.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee structure is high but affordable. cost to study here for general category students is 8 lakh for 4 years course duration. scholarships opportunities are also provided here, and campus jobs also for some students are provided here.

Campus Life

life the campus is always good especially Canpus life in nit srinagar is just brilliant. The infrastructure is not that good here at nit srinagar but good and also clubs are arranged for students to showcase their talents.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility in nit srinagar is poor, to be honest. this facility is poor but not very poor also mess food is average here at our campus (nit Srinagar) sometimes that can be below average also. Our mess fee is high.

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

The entrance exam to be qualified is jee mains and then clear the cutoff which is required for your desired branch and then start the admission process at your institute. You have to submit a fee at the time of admission.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

I chose this college since the crowd over here is filtered. And the crowd seemed to be quiet productive as well the chances of being successful over here are more.I applied for cuet as well but since i got got admission over here i chose not to go to there....Read More

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . Coming to Admission Process , It is very Simple and easy Process . You just have have to come here in Campus Once you get Alloted a seat in NIt srinagar and everthing will be very easy. NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
