Remarks

Admission was done through JEE mains and counselling cum seat allotment was done through josaa which is student-friendly and nice. Reservation is done for SC ST candidates and a relaxation of full tuition fee waiver is given to them. Also, OBC NCL and females have relaxation in the admission procedure

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose it in order to learn about machines in mechanical engineering and it's real-time application in engineering processes. Faculty are about 12 while students are 112. 112:12 who are hugely successful. Exams were moderate and mathematics was difficult to pass and exams were timely

Class Size: 112Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

Semester 6 makes students eligible for placement all types of companies offer placements like Microsoft Google Amazon and Deloitte and government sectors. The highest package was 42 lpa and on average all branches about 9.2 lpa students get placed above 50 per cent. I intend to do a placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable. Approximately 2 lacs per year including food and hostel and fees is not hiked geometrically but arithmetically which makes it easy for students to afford and NSP grants a lot of scholarships to deserving candidates also there are no fees for SC ST OBC candidates however the general candidates have to pay the full fee amounting to approximately 2 lacs per annum

Campus Life

Techvaganza is the official fest which is conducted annually during spring generally in May. The library is fully equipped and modern with up-to-date facilities and classroom amenities are unique and student-friendly and conducive to study. Sports is a huge proportion of this college and utmost care is taken to provide good sports facilities

Hostel Facilities

A room consists of 5 roomates three tables and a light with bunk beds and 6 almirahs. Mess food is okay with the students deciding the mess food and quantity. Hostels are affordable with registration process being easy. Hazratbal is the nearest landmark to rent

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

Overview of NIT SRINAGAR

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . Coming to Admission Process , It is very Simple and easy Process . You just have have to come here in Campus Once you get Alloted a seat in NIt srinagar and everthing will be very easy. NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
