Likes

The scenery is amazing and teachers are super knowledgeable
The security and staff help is good and.
Overall the facilities are good and help people.

Dislikes

Food quality is not upto standards and requires improvement
Ragging is strictly taken care of still some people get through
Teachers do not help you with extra curricular activities at all.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most demanding citycel in the country nowadays. The maximum faculty and staff is Kashmiri and almost 3/4 of the students studying are Kashmiri. The faculty is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and the teaching method is great too. Exams are of standard level and require true focus and knowledge to pass them.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and Deloitte offer placements and internship opportunities. The stipend depends upon the job you do bye still ranges from 3-7k. Protected like paper clips which were supported by indie companies were successfully completed.

Placement Experience

The fourth semester is ideally the time internships are provided. Packages reach a height of 52lpa but the overall average is around 13-15 lpa. Around 80% of the total student population gets a placement. Well excluding the population of students who leave the college it dropout.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is considerably low as compared to other colleges and even a few waivers are applied for students with disability and students with family incomes between one to five lakh. The fees joke ye probably nil as the government rarely increases the fee structure.

Campus Life

We gave tech veganaza named fests around the month of May to July everything year and several knowledgeable and entertaining fests ground all through the year. Books are limited but maximum notes are provided by the teacher itself. Sports are supported theoretically. Groups like soap box and semi-colon are present which offer you many different opportunities.

Admission

Jee mains exam qualification is necessary. Online application form. 75% criteria for 12th maths shall be removed. Relaxation of seats and marks is provided on so admission for people with reservations as per government policy.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
