What Students Say

Likes

The large playground area and the sports equipment. There are also emergency kits in college that I really like and the infrastructure of the college is really awesome
The placements in this college are is really outstanding.
Faculty and staff are really friendly with each student.

Dislikes

The water standing on the way due to rains.
Drinking water facilities is not that upto the standards.
Parking area and canteen area are not that good.

I chose this course because Civil engineering is my passion and I am very much fascinated by Civil engineering. The faculty and staff are friendly and faculty and student ratio is good enough Qualification of faculty is having a minimum degree of m.tech and the way of teaching is awesome. The term exams are held as per the schedule and coming to the difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are started for the students who are studying in 3rd year and should have a minimum of 70 percent in their studies. The companies that offered internships are Amazon, Google, jb, Morgan, Wipro, etc.

Placement Experience

Students from the 3rd year are eligible for campus placements. Names of the companies that visited are Amazon Google jb Morgan etc. The percentage of students should be a minimum of 70 percent. My plan after getting the degree is studying a master of science in the United Kingdom.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are moderate and not so high. In comparison to other colleges the fee structure of this college is better and middle-class families may be benefited from this There are student scholarships for backward-class students.

Campus Life

There are plenty of books and the library has more books with good authors and the journals in the library are good. The classrooms are vast and big with fans and good lighting facilities. Extra and co-curricular activities are more supported and encouraged in college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very neat and clean With Good lighting facilities and the beds are also really good. The meals provided in a hostel are delicious and the menu is as per the schedule. The registration process should be done at the college or hostel premises itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The eligibility of the course is based on the ECET test. The application form is available at the college premises itself and application dates also Reservations benefits are provided for SC, ST, and other caste students. Students who come from far places should be given priority first in the admission process.

Interview Experience

The process of admission was so friendly and they took care of each and every person without any discrimination. I prepared for these rounds for many days. Solving mock tests and mock interviews helped me to reach here.

Golden days era

Likes

The faculty, ambience, facilities were good.The knowledge shared was great
Faculty was very patient and approcheable
The college environment was good at opportunities ,events , and social interactions

Dislikes

Many changes required within the lab facilities and shortage of lab equipments as well
Placement support was good but the salries offered by the employers was not satisfactory.
More practical knowledge related activities to be implemented

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Likes

The college focuses more on academic excellence so if you really want to focus on studies it's best
Campus life is enjoyable , very green and have events. Students get opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, which helps in building confidence
The faculty members are knowledgeable and very supportive. They will guide you for the future path and your life decisions

Dislikes

Mostly focus is on academics and extracurricular activities are very less
The placement opportunities are very less . They pay very less
The girls ratio is 60 and boys ratio is 40.

From 4-2 the students become eligible for college placement No of companies visites for placement are many and that includes Cipla,Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Sometimes it is 100% placement for few companies and for some it is 3-4 students My plans include doing m pharma

Likes

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Likes

The college environment is so pleasant and proper.
The ground here is the biggest in the whole state. CCC. CNN Bb. CC. By no.
Faculty is so supportive and the Principal here gives you freedom to do the things you love. Bb. By CC BB.

Dislikes

There is no much thing that I disliked here..as of now.. be v ci ci Cc. C
Boys hostel facilities like warm water..clothes washing is a difficult one. Bb CC CV by. BB. Bb v. Va be.
Have fun in the college..do not leave your days which are once gone..you can’t have them back.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a great subject to deal about in the life... it helps in the overall development of the student in terms of medicine and medications. This college has many hospitals affiliated to itself helping the students in terms of the experience and control.

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Expectations and the experience!

Likes

First thing is here,In our college there are very strict rules.
Discipline is considered first here in CAIMS.
The faculty is very serious about studies.

Dislikes

I don't like the food in mess , the food is not worth the fee in my opinion.
We don't have many parties or any celebrations,we only have fest and DGM once in a year.
There were no outings every week ,we have to take permission every time we go home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
