Matrusri college of Engineering is affiliated to Osmania University. The syllabus and all the curriculum are given to our college by ou. Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable persons and are very interactive with us.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided to us in 3rd year or 4th year based on the student's talent and interest to get an Internship. But the faculty always encourage students to get Internships and asks us to join courses that are very useful to us. There are more than 40% of internship opportunities in our college.

Placement Experience

The minimum or average package in our college is 5 lakhs. The placement head of our college is very enthusiastic to bring more and more placements to our college. Through that we apply for the companies that came to our college and attend the rounds conducted by them. our faculty will help and encourage us to get placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of MECS is 9lakhs per year and an additional university fee of 18 thousand which should be paid in only 1st year itself. There are many opportunities for scholarships for students. Faculty members are also encouraging students to get applied for the desired scholarships.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our college. In which the club members are selected by a process. Our seniors who are already part of the club and heads, and coordinators of clubs will test the new members who are willing to join the club through interviews and other tests.

The admission process in our college is done in 2 ways that are through tseamcet counseling (A cat). And through mains rank ( B cat). I got Admission to this college through A Cat. The eligibility criteria to get Admission in this matrusri college in computer science engineering is tseamct rank below 12k for Oc students.

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Relevant and practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

A valuable four year journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer.This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more.The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
