What Students Say

Likes

College campus is good. Faculties are helpful. One main thing is it is a girls college only

Dislikes

Washrooms cleaning is not so good this is the only things I disliked about college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am from Information Technology department and genuinely I was become topper for all the three years. I were the CR for three years. My overall experience with this college and department was so much good. Our department faculties are so helpful to all students and they all are permanent staff with great experience this is most strong point of our department. Overall teaching method is great and quality of teaching is the best according to other colleges. Our college is based on semester pattern one semester is of minimum 4 months in which we have to gave mid semester exam in every semester i.e. Unit test because of that we get prepared for final exams which is main advantage of these exams

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 6784 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have to compulsory do our internship after completing our second year Every student choose company for internship according to there convenience Because of intership I was able to made real time project with my teammates and it was a sponsored project which is the greatest thing I have ever experienced in my college life

Placement Experience

Campus Placements are good. Most of the companies like Infosys,Wipro,John dhere visit the college to take interview this is good thing it may be online or offline From each department student gets offer from different companies it is good thing and everyone can apply for every company Average package is about 3 LPA and it is good according to others at Diploma level

Fees and Financial Aid

It is an government college so fees are not more it is around RS. 6000-/ per year and if we want hostel then hostel fee is different from college fees it is about Rs. 570-/ only for open category and mess is excluded from this it is something R.S. 1500-/ per month. If you are hosteler then you will get better scholership which is panjabrao deshamukh scholership And if you are from open category you will get EBC on your college fees

Campus Life

4.5

College has very good campus. College is far from city so no interruptions of other things this is great thing according to me. It is a girls college so more enjoyment is there all the things and events are get arranged very neat by all students and teachers. Classrooms are cleaned College also has one main library with different kinds of books. College support extra curricular activities, different sports, etc

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are so good each department has its own hostel there are total 7 hostels in campus. Rooms are big, specious and clean Each room has Lights, fans In every room there are four beds, and have one gallery Registration process of hostel is simple just fill one form of hostel PG,rooms, flats are also there outside the campus

Hostel Fee: INR 570 per year

Admission

Admission process is so simple we just have to register on dte portal then our application I'd will get generated then other processes will get displayed on the screen it is of 8 to 9 steps and verification of documents. There is no need to gave any entrance exam to get admission for diploma it is basically depends on our 10th marks/percentage. Application form, fees details and all processes dates get displayed on dte portal very efficiently and in a simple manner And yes off course there are reservation benefits for all the categories for college fees and also for hostel Overall admission process is simple and i would say not complicated

Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Excellent college for diplomawith supportive faculty

Likes

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

A Good choice for engineering

Likes

I liked the college campus, infrastructure and the helpful nature of the faculty. Teachers explain concepts well and are supportive when students need guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why I chose the course: The course has a good mix of theory, practical subjects, labs and technical skills, which influenced my decision. Real-world preparation: The curriculum gives basic industry knowledge and practical experience. It is also useful for higher studies. Improvements: More practical projects, industry visits, updated technology and hands-on training would make the course better. Teaching could be more practical and interactive. Exams: Internal exams are conducted during the semester and university exams at the end. The difficulty is moderate and manageable with regular study.

Review for Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic in vasai

Likes

I liked how they support any type of sports or passion that the student likes.
All the laboratories have the required equipment ready for the practicals to be performed.
The canteen of the college has varities of food and snacks for students or staff members.

Dislikes

Sometimes Lectures are not being conducted properly in the classroom.
The classroom and labs are dirty. The walls have smudges and footprints from shoes.
Most of the computers in the laboratory do not function and are very poor in terms of specs.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.
