Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in the core branch to be specifically the electrical branch so, I made it the first choice. The faculty of this branch is way good and cooperative. All have completed their Btech or Mtech from renowned Colleges in Odisha and also from NITs and IITs.Our branch has a good number of facilities that is nearly 30. And college focuses a lot on study and exams . 2 internal exams and one semester in Every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
As I am in 4th, I have done one certificate course from NPTEL informed by the college. In the 5th sem, we need to avail an offline internship. Also in the 7th semester, students go for payable internships. In the 8th semester, there is project work.
Placement Experience
In their 6th semester students are eligible to sit in placements. Most of the companies coming are of IT sector with packages 2 to r lakh. Also, Tata Power and Adani group la are providing a package of 6 to 6.5 lakh per annum. After my degree, my plan is to join a core company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is affordable for a middle-class family. Also, there are lone systems for students who can't afford them. College is informing the students about different types of scholarship schemes by the Government from time to time. Students are getting campus jobs with an average package of 3.5 lakh.
Campus Life
College conduct each observable day. Along with the grand festivals are the college Technical and Cultural fest named Robomania and Exuberance respectively. These functions are conducted nearly in the month of January by the student clubs and responsible organisers. classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and simply a blackboard and smart board. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted but I say not that much activity. But it's considerable. The college has many clubs named Robostreks, writers, Kalakar, Shadow, and Cadance.
Admission
I was selected for Btech in electrical engineering at Parala Maharaja Engineering College with a rank of 403743 in JEE entrance exam. Students can also get in through the Odisha JEE entrance exam. Then counselling is conducted by OJEE and is an e-round process. Then college informs you of the admission process through their website.
