What Students Say

Likes

Very good atmosphere out form the city and covered by nature
Canteen and it's tea is amazing I liked that so much
Beautiful view from my room of sunrise is magnificent

Dislikes

Faculties are totally not supported at any situation
They stopped girls at every step and compared with boys
Placement is not much good and not satisfied for students

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Electronic and telecommunication is a very good branch and have both opportunity for both software and core. I just love the branch and it's subjects. There are a little bit difficult subject in ETC but if you are a good student in mathematics then you can did it easily. Faculties are not so good and some are good teachers. They are not supportive at all and most have the faculties are guest faculties so they have not proper experience for the important subjects in ETC.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College fee is around 30000 and I stayed in hostel so hostel fee is around 40000 per year. There is many scholarship for btech students. I applied for state scholarship portal and gote around 20000 per annum. For software job minimum package is 350000 per Annum and for core 250000 per annum.

Campus Life

Campus is not that much good. We have a very big campus but these are not for girls. Boys have many opportunities in our college but girls are not able to get all that. Sports and extracurricular activities are available but not so much supported by our college. According to them study matters the most.

Admission

I'm preparing for NEET Examination at Aakash institute for one year. After the coaching I gave the exam for both NEET and JEE. Unfortunately I didn't qualify in NEET but I have a goot score in JEE examination. So I follow the official notice of OJEE and got selected at parala maharaja engineering College with my desired branch. Eligibility is 10th 60% above and 12th 50% above

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

"PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
