My Review on My Cotton College

I have chosen this course because I have very much interest in this course. I wanted to be a lecturer in this field. The faculty members are very friendly to the students. Their teaching method is quite impressive. They get so friendly with the students as there are one of them. There are mainly 2 classrooms for the undergraduates and 3 for the post graduates. There are 78 students in UG and 131 in PG. There are altogether 13 faculty members. The members were highly qualified. Some of them have done PhD in this field and some of them are still continuing their PhD. The exams didn't load much for the students as it was held in a fixed period of time. And as the teachers are aware of the exams time table, they completed their syllabus before the exam dates. Also the teachers notes and teaching are so good that the students didn't get any difficulties for the exams. Since the exam were held in a fixed time but the declaration of results is too late. The authority must look for it.

The fees for this course may vary. Those students whose annual family income is less than 1 lakh, they get a fee waiver. Although the fees is not too costly, one can easily afford it. The major cons in the college is that it doesn't provide placements to the students. Although there is a placement cell in the college,but it doesn't provide any placements. No companies come to the college for hiring students. But there are many career counseling session held during the course.

The college was established in the year 1901. And it is the one of the most prestigious college in Assam. One who come to this college get attached with its beauties. The college provides a fascinating campus. There are many buildings inside the campus. There are many places inside where the students spent their free time. There are many fest that occurs several times a month. There are many drama society, music society etc. There is a beautiful library known as S.K Bhuyan library. The library has many books , magazines and also computers. The library gets full during the exam season. Also the college has a very beautiful sports week known as Varsity Week that held every year. And one of the biggest fest of the college is it's Election. The Election is the most memorable time for thre students. Also the students run many social welfares like donating clothes,etc. One of their social platform name is Wall of humanity.

The admission was on the basis of my Class 12th percentage. One can find every details such as the application form,application fees on the college official website. They published notice regarding the admission process. There are also reservation for sc,st,ews and physically disabled person. Also there are reservation for students who are associated with sports,ncc,etc. The admission process is clear and usual. The college will provide a notice with important dates for admission process such as document verification, payment,etc. The students have to keep Ready their documents and submit it to the college as per the guidelines highlighted in the notice.
