Course Curriculum Overview
I am from the computer science branch as I wanted to pursue web development and had a keen interest in web development from the 11th itself. The faculties are good but the majority of things depend on the student's performance, so in a semester the college conducts 2 exams mid-sem and end-sem, and if they are not really hard and you can score well in those and they are conducted in the gap of 2 months each.
Internships Opportunities
The amount of companies visiting is incredible, all the big companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Visa, and Citi Bank visit the college after the 4th semester. So first round is a coding round and if you get short listed then you will have no. of interview rounds depending on the company. For internships, most companies visit for SDE profile but some visit Machine learning intern also.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester the students are eligible for the placement season, the companies visit the campus itself, the average package is 12 lacs per annum and the highest package is 1 crore per annum, last year 99% of students got placed in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
So as compared to other government colleges the fees per annum are a little high here it's around 2,16,000/-, the Tution fee is 1,30,000/- and the rest are the additional charges, you can also apply for scholarships which the college offers only if your family income is less than 4 lacs per annum which you can apply from September itself, e-district scholarship, Siemens scholarship this is a private scholarship which Siemens offer.
Campus Life
All the extracurricular activities are good here, there are many societies for acting, singing, coding, finance, etc. Fest is also conducted mostly around March, e.g.- egnifest which is one of the biggest fests, The classrooms are good. All the amenities are provided. There is a library, and all the books of all the departments are available.
Admission
So you first have to give JEE Mains for DTU and for IIT's JEE advanced, the application form will be out around October for JEE mains, the fee for the form is Rs.1000/-. If you are from a sc/st/obc background then you'll get more preference than the general ones and if you are from Delhi then the cutoff for the course will be less.
