Remarks

This campus is good for day scholars. The events should be somewhat more accelerated here. Being here is much more fun. My overall campus till now was too exciting.

Entrance Preview

SRM UNIVERSITY takes its own entrance examination every year. I also appeared for the same. I cleared the exam and after that a counselling session was conducted in which I got CSE as my branch of study.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course runs solely on the syllabus framed by the Anna University. The course chosen by me is nice and quite understandable. I think the university isn't having research initiatives.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not provided by the college. Training sessions are organised by them but. Open internship drives are conducted at various locations.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement scenario is good. Last year, the college gave a really good stats. Around 76% students in our department got placed with 3.2 lacs of average package.

College Events

4

Events are organised at the main campus. Our campus just hosts some small technical events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is too high. For us each year the fee is something around 1 lac 60 thousand for those who don't opt for transport facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students. Loans are given on demand to students.

Campus Life

4.5

Extra curricular activities are there. Most of the students get opportunities in it. Management hugely supports it.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostels are not available here as it is a day scholar campus. Most of the students are day scholars.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is diverse. Many graduates from here have taken their degrees from here and sometimes they are being called for interaction sessions.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken twice every semester. Internals and assessment are also frequently conducted.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are good. There teaching strategy are also distinctive. Interaction skills are also manageable. There qualifications are not sure to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
