What Students Say

Likes

The teaching method is really good and clear to understand. So that we can easily pass in exam.
The rules are properly followed by the college. So that there is no ragging and crime is happened in the college.
The environment is good to see and it was regularly maintained by the college authorities.

Dislikes

The canteen food is not good as compared to the hostel. So i wish they would change the canteen food contract .
The bathroom is not in good condition. Sometimes there is a bad smell comes into the classroom.
Some of the equipments and machines in the college laboratory is not in working condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

Getting to pass exams is not difficult because they conduct exams every month so that we can get some experience to know how to pass semester exams easily. I have some knowledge in this area so, I want to enhance my knowledge and skills in this field so I am choosing this course.

Internships Opportunities

It's a very good opportunity for students the students go to internships and the faculty also sends the students to internships that are amazing and the faculty is very good. Then the students go to internships.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placement during their 7th semester. They should have zero arrears in their semester exams. Many students were placed every year in Top recruited companies like TCS and MNetc. The average salary package is around Rs. 200000 per year and the maximum salary package is Rs. 500000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is Rs.64000 and it varies for various things let see an example, If a student is a first graduate he needs to pay half of the fees Rs.32000 in the college fees of Rs. 64000 . The average hostel fee is around Rs. 40000 and the bus fees depend upon the place where the students come from.

Campus Life

The bathroom is not in good condition. Sometimes there is a bad smell comes into the classroom. some of the hostel fans are not working but it's clear sometimes. Hostel food is just OK! But some items are good for example chapati.

Hostel Facilities

The bathroom is not in good condition. Sometimes there is a bad smell comes into the. room but it's clear in one or two hours. The hostel warden is also a good person. He was like a friend and gave many plans to students.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

The cost of the application form is Rs. 1000. We can get the application form in the admin block of the college Where the admission process is run. The eligible for the course is based on the cut off of the students who got in their 12th standard.

Interview Experience

Many events were conducted for every month in the college it is both technical and nontechnical. It is really helpful for the students to gain knowledge. For sports, some of the students are in state and National cricket teams.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
