Remarks

You have to worh hard to get success here. If you have talent, college will help you only then. Overall, a satisfactory college but not the best one.

Entrance Preview

You can take admission through UPTU entrance examination. Or you can also take direct admission on the basis of jee main score.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from electronics and instrumentation branch. It is a new branch but have a good scope in future. Practical learning is more focused than acedemic.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided but they make a charge for this. Last year, a company from west Bengal came to give an internship on biogas power plant.

Placement Experience

Placement for mechanical and civil is very poor. But, cs and it has a record placement of more than 95%. Average package is approx 4 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

The annual fest of Galgotias is famous in delhi ncr. Big celebrities also came. Other events are freshers party, farewell party and national festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is approx 1.3 lakh per annum. Total btech fee is approx 5.5 lakhs. And for a professional course , this fee is average.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided but it's a very lengthy process. A lot of documents is to be submitted. And any errors in documents can disqualify you from getting scholarship.

Campus Life

Dance, singing, drama, acting, sports like football cricket hockey volleyball etc are organised. There are a club of all departments mentioning above activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I don't reside in college hostel. But , hostels are good and inside the campus. Security is also very tight. And, good hygiene food is provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are a lot in number in the college. You can take inspiration from them. They guide you properly.

Exam Structure

Exams are frequently taken. But, it's student choice, either you appear in exam or not. College doesn't force you. But, these exams are helpful for the final preparations.

Faculty

3.5

Apart from 3-4 faculties, rest are highly qualified. Both male and females teachers are available. And, they keep a good relations with the students.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
