Course Curriculum Overview

I actually wanted to pursue computer science but can't due to lower scores in Jee Mains so the second choice for me is Mechanical Engineering as I have backup for pursuing an MBA in supply chain management at IIM Bombay(formerly NITIE). The faculty: Student ratio is not that good but ok there are some difficulties for some students to interact with faculties & vice versa. The faculties are well qualified with PHD degrees. The teaching method is good but as you know nothing is good to be good as is the case here. The exams are conducted timely with the pre-planned structure for every semester, unit tests and practicals.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 88300 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also pretty good and helps you buildup your resume more strong and let your learn and earn at the same time you can apply for internship from second year itself so its pretty good in case of the college.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for internship from the 6th semester for campus placements. There are many companies that visit our campus like Cognizant, Accenture, tata and many more. Accenture(250 offers), Cognizant(150 offers), Wipro(70 offers), Infosys(150 offers), LTI(85). The highest package of 20 lakh offered by Vmware, nuclei and two more companies give almost the same packages to 10-12 students. Companies like ZS, quantify and 7-8 more companies offered packages around 9-10 lakhs. Around 80% of students get placed in IET DAVV

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable compared to private institutions in Madhya Pradesh. The overall cost to study if you are lucky enough to get a college hostel then the cost for 4 years is around 4.5 Lakhs and if you don't get a college hostel then the cost can go high. I didn't get any Scholarships or financial aid.

Campus Life

There is a quite lot of annual fest namely aak shank, e-Sangam and many more. Tech fest i.e. Invento is conducted in October. Aakshank is conducted in February every year. There are a lot of books available in the library. The sports and extracurricular activities are large in the number in the college. There are a lot of clubs like E-Cell, Cultural Club, Pheonix, Drama Club, GDSC, NSS& a lot more

Admission

The admission process was quite easy and good. The eligibility of course was 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with 60% in 12th. The admission is done on the basis of Jee Mains and its cutoff is by the percentile scored. The cutoff for every branch in the college varies from branch to branch and category to category. The application forms and everything for the college are available on the MP DTE website. Yeah, the admission process can be more quick and easy to access. The servers for the MP DTE are slow which needs improvement. The in-college admission process was quite good but has scope for further improvement.

IIIT Bhopal Campus and Placement Review

Likes

I liked the college environment as it is currently running under Manit campus.
I like the fests organised by the internal student community at frequent time.
I like the teaching way of my HODs like how well they educate our students.

Dislikes

I dislike that our college doesn't have its own campus.
I disliked that there is still some lack of labs for the students for their practicals.
Also some seniors take a little ragging but it's banned in our college and if found then a strong action might be taken on the guilty.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Bhopal Placement are very good as compared to other private colleges and also as compared to its NiRF ranking. In ece it's around 15 lakhs, for cs its around 22 lakhs and for it it's around 13- 15 lakhs. This the average package which I have discussed.

Vidhyapeeth college will give you the best opportunity to have been placed about 4 to 6 lack package we have got if we are good in academics and have practical knowledge of the subject and have deep knowledgeable.

I like the faculty of Gyan ganga college of Technology. They are very good.
I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

Dislikes

There is nothing about my college which I disliked
i like everything about my college and it is very good

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

Likes

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements
i don't thing there's anything i don't like now

1. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. 2. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other IT/ services firms visit the campus regularly and make multiple offers. 3. The average package ranges between ?4-?5 LPA, while the highest package goes up to ?12 to18 LPA for top performers.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is good but need aware about to clean washrooms of college and need maintaince in lab.This is irrectculas.

In my opinion I chose this course because my some family members are also do this course and his placement is good in this sector how much he thinks he gets . Therefore I do this course and his placement in our city this is also quite enough to chose this course and mainly I didn't score good marks in jee to get other branches this is also one of region.

Likes

The clubs in the college are good. There are specific club for coding , for robotics, for music and dance.
The placement in the college is also good . If you give some efforts then you will get a good placement.
The curriculum and syllabus of the college is up-to-date and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The college did not have its own campus, so currently it regulates from inside MANIT.
The girls to boys ratio is very poor. In my batch there are only 18 girls among 650 students.
The fees of the college is also very high

Placement Experience:

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Likes

No strict policy for maintaining 75% attendance criteria but you should maintain at least of 60%
No dress code you can wear casual dresses to in the class but you will have to wear formals only in

Dislikes

The class length is very high and there are 80 students In a class in the class size is small and congested
The infrastructure is very bad as it won't providing basic necessity

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college are decent as the average package is of 6.5 LP which is good as compared to the fees you are paying almost 90% of a students gets placedd from here the companies including TCS and Wipro come here

Faculty are very sportive and my batch mentor sir in very sportive

Washroom and not in well conditions and watercolor is also not working
College timeing because the time is not fixed

The college student are eligible for placements when they are in 8 the sem because my mtech course is 5 years and when student clear the 7 the sem they are eligible for set in placements and The college placements are good and the highest package is 1corore12 lakh and the average packages is 6 to 7 lakh

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.

I applied many colleges like sgsits indore, mits gwalior and iet davv and according to my rank sgsits ece branch is unavailable for me,so I choose this college. After counseling we have to visit in college with some documents which is already given in college website and allotment letter. There is limited seats in hostel so first come and get hostal. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch. The placement opportunities as well as the average city of this branch is very good. Also with the increasing rise in the demand of semiconductors and involvement of our prime minister in this field , the electronic in telecommunication branch is definitely going to get a boom in future. IET DAVV College Review(An honest one)

Besides the IITs and NITs in Madhya Pradesh, IET DAVV and SGSITS are the two most renowned government aided institutes. I had the option to choose between Mechanical of SGSITS and CSBS of IET-DAVV, but due to my childhood intrest in coding and computers I chose CSBS over mechanical engineering.
