What Students Say

Likes

In this college Faculty teaching was very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I like this information technology course. In this, I would study about software development. The faculty was good in this college. The student ratio was about 70. The faculties were well qualified and their teaching was also good.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 41500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college, fees were much lower than other colleges of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Scholarships are available at this college. It can be applied through the scholarship's official website like Punjabrao scholarships. There are merit-based scholarships.

Campus Life

2.5

The college campus was good but very small ground and infrastructure. But the library was very large. In the library, all books are available for reading and all. It can be renewable every 15 days. The classrooms are in good condition. All the amenities are available.

Admission

The college is not good from a placement point of view. The entrance exam which I have given was MHTCET. The cutoff of this college is above the 90 percentile. The admission process is very easy, we just need to submit all the required doc.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
