What Students Say

Likes

Labs of IT and AI&DS department were good.
Library was good with large collection of books and can fit 100-250 students.
Center of excellence was good with full day A/C and no restrictions for students to come and go.

Dislikes

This college needs to have better faculty for new subjects, since many of them can't teach well.
No free time for students since college starts at 9:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm which was annoying.
No proper guidance for students who wants to do other than web development.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very much interested in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and this college offers this course. For subjects like Python, DBMS, and Algorithms, our faculty taught us very well. Coming to exams for every 45 days there will be a mid-exam and faculty will try to cover the syllabus, but they fail to cover the whole syllabus and leave the last unit of every subject.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Students can appear for placements from 3rd year itself. If you are hardworking there will be a chance for you to get placed. This year i.e. 2023 only 2-4 companies visited our campus for placements. I haven't heard how many of them are placed. Major roles offered were Web dev, App dev, and some for core branches. Coming to AI&DS we haven't got any placement offers. Most of our department students were planning to attempt the GATE exam for M.tech in other reputed colleges for better job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I got a free seat, the government pays the fee to the college. If you got the seat through counseling and are not eligible for a scholarship you need to pay the fee as set by the government. For management students college sets the fee for them. Additionally, you need to pay Rs. 12,000-15,000 per year for other activities. The exam fee for each semester is Rs.1500. The College provides transportation also the fee depends on location.

Campus Life

Each year fest called 'VALIANT' is conducted where any student can participate. A block is available for the library and a floor for the Digital library containing approx. 200 computers. Each department has its own clubs organized by students and they conduct events each year in which students can participate.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Rooms were average. Rooms were four sharing. The cleaning staff will clean the room every day. Food was below average. Hostel facilities are provided to students upto 3rd year. The fee depends on the year they were studying.

Admission

I appeared for APEAPCET-2021 and secured a rank 9062 which helped me in joining this college. The cut-off for this course is 15,000 and I appeared for APEAPCET counseling and in the first round itself I was alloted a seat in this college.

A Great Learning Experience at Ashoka

I like that every faculty in our college supports and encourage each and every student to get placed. I also like the Training and Placement Department because they regularly organized aptitude, communication, technical trainings .
I like the innovative teaching method in our college, where we undergo with different activities that makes us to understand the concepts in an easy way

Dislikes

Network issue in college environment as well as in hostel

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

All the aspects are updated and modern technology, smart class rooms, seminar halls, Labs, core labs, PPT presentations etc.
the engagement with campus was very good and memorable in life, Social interactions are decent. campus Amenities was super. Clean Campus
most of the faculty Ph.D. holders and All the curriculum subjects up to date. everything is job market

Placement Experience:

Our College placements is very good, 150+ Companies visted our college and more than 990+ Students placed in Companies recently, our college hightest package was 22LPA and visited companies like, Infosys, TCS, Meesho, EvokeTechnologies, Envidia, Deloitte, Snovasys, TATA electronics, Meil, Cntl S. Etc.

VIIT - What all you need.

Likes

Infrastructure at the college is good and facilities are available.
Faculty will teach the complete syllabus nd if any student is having doubts, they can approach the faculty to get their doubts clarified.
Regular, assessment tests are being conducted to know the knowledge of the students.

Dislikes

Multiple tests to assess students in various aspects.
More co-curricular and extra curricular activities have to be there.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements to its students. The college invited more than 30 software companies to the college annually where students can apply based on the criteria mentioned by the company and interest of the students. The placed students count is also good compared to the eligible students count.

Pace institute of technology and sciences have 26 clubs to train the students on their interested path (like Ml club for machnine learning and AI club for knowing the technologies in AI) it also have NCC and NSS
The college culture wasvery good and management also helpful and supportive, it also have modernised auditorium for guding the huge member of students and to conduct high level meeting in the college it also have good transport facilites
this college have well maintained digital class rooms with good projector facility and advanced smart board equipped seminar hall

Placement Experience:

Every students eligible for placements in the 3rd year, Top Mnc companies visit the campus like Infosys, TCS, Meesho, Deloite, Meil, control s, etc. highest placement is 22 Lakhs per anum and the average package is 6LPA it provides perfect placement with top companies have supperate cell for training and placement with highlyknowldged faculty.

Why Kl university

Likes

I like the infrastructure of my university
College life is very good and there will be no stress
The Teaching and non teaching staffs are very good and supportive

The thing I disliked is the timings of the classes
Another thing is to travel for long time if you are local

I would rate the circulam 10 out of 10 because in our cirrculum we will learing skills like dbms, full stack which will we useful in our placements. we have two mid examinations first 50% of the syllabus will be on mid1, another 50% will be mid2 and one semeter end exam.

Kits college overall review

Likes

Very disciplined college, rules are very strict in shirt tuck shoes mandatory for boys along with id card.
Other activities like functions,events participations is good
Infrastructure and maintenance is very good

Dislikes

They will ask you to pay full fee before government disperse the amount
Barely communicate between opposite genders due to strict rules
Placements from past year is not up to the mark

Actually for every 6 months we have to complete one semester,due to Covid in our batch time we completed the course quite fast,after Covid the classes are done according to the time and we also participate multiple hackathon to represent out ideas and some skill oriented programming organisations

the thing i like more in our college is firstly dicipline
the thing i like in our college are more but mostly we can say friendly and experienced faculty
in my college every topic is explained practically it is very help fullfor our studies

i dont like the thing our college management dont allow us to bring mobile to college
second thing was we not even permiable to talk with opposite gender freely
some of the rules in our college represent a school
