- Campus Size and Maintenance : The campus is very big to spend time and also lots of greenery which makes the experience more pleasant.
- College Life : DTU has one of the most balanced study - life balance. One can easily travel, enjoy, do hobbies alongside studies and Excel in both
- Safety : There are guards and barricades all over the campus to ensure student safety
Dislikes
- Gender Ratio : DTU has the worst gender ratio in all the colleges all over Delhi. In my class of 64 students 63 are boys and there is only 1 girl. In rest of the departments the case is still same no difference at all.
- Neighbouring Area : DTU is in Badli Industrial area which has one of the highest crime rates in entire country so safety should be the topmost priority once you step out of college gate.
- Egoistic Professors : Some of the professors are very rude and egoistic and they start scolding for even a minute mistake especially in labs.
Course Curriculum Overview
DTU has one of the best placements in tech branches with an avg CTC of 22LPA in CS,IT,SE,MAC combined. All the faculties have great teaching experience and qualifications in their respective industries so it helps a lot in placement. The faculty student ratio is about 1 professor for 50 students as per academic department of the college.All exams are regular and what is taught in lectures appears in the exam. Exams are easy to pass if you have devoted adequate time to studies.
Internships Opportunities
Companies start visiting college for internships from the first year and placements at the end of third year. Several companies like Gold Sacchs, McKinsey and Google have visited the college and provided offer letters to students based on their skills and qualificationsm
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of the college is as per the government standards and no such fee hikes. Economically weak students get Dell scholarship to stop money from being a problem in their career development. Also there are fees returns for Sc,St and Obc candidates.
Campus Life
There are many fests most popular is Engifest then Yuvaan and so on. DTU has the best fests in all of Delhi NCR region and there are various clubs/societies whatever we call them in the college on sports,fashion,art, technology,mechanics and so on no restrictions on anyone they can join more than one society.
Admission
To get admission into B.Tech program in DTU you have to qualify JEE Mains exam conducted by NTA and secure atleast 98 percentile if you are a general category candidate if you want admission in Software Engineering course. I completed my 12th from Delhi and DTU has seats reserved for Delhi students so I got admission into this course at 98.4 percentile otherwise minimum 99 percentile score is required for outside Delhi general male candidates to get admission in BTech in Software Engineering.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology - [NSUT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mathematics and Computing)
I was alloted NSUT in second last round of counselling but I didn't freeze the college alloted so this college was skipped and replaced with DTU in last round of counselling.
