Remarks

there were many good remarks regarding the transportation, hospitality, faculty etc... coming to the negative points a few are there, some of drug activities will be going on our college campus it is very effective remark to our college status. other than this all is well

Entrance Preview

i took ECET exam to enter into this college, i got good rank and this gurunanak college is best one for my rank that's why i chosen this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

the course curriculum is actually not up to the industrial needs of now a days scenario, but it is sufficient to get good theoretical knowledge. course curriculum is divided into total 8 semesters. 2 semesters per a year, there was a change in the curriculum from 8 chapters per subject to the 5 chapters for subject. and for the year of 2017 the total curriculum was revised and updated.

Internships Opportunities

no, actually the internships was provided by the other private organizations but not our college. but they support to give permission for getting internships in other organizations. the stipend was given for the projects which are under the ugc only not for all.

Placement Experience

3.5

there were lot of opportunities to the cse and mba students and also ece students but except these three branches less opportunities to other all. they will provide pre placement programs to get ready for the placements. the placement pattern is also good. they will provide good selection environment for the all processes.

College Events

3

there are lot of events through out the each year, starting with welcome day for new admission students and freshers party also for them, and branch wise fests also conducted by each branch. dj nigh(live wire),annual day, traditional day, farewell day, sports day and many more events will be there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is not so expensive and not so economic also it is up to the college standards. now it is running 80000+ per year for as tution and semester fee including. for the residential students it was 70k for the food and bed. 35000 scolership will be provided by the convenor quota of the bc students and total fee scholerships for sc/st students

Fees and Financial Aid

yeah it is there, but not provided by college it self. govt will provide study scholarships 35000 for bc students and full payment for the sc&st students. i don't think so about the loan facility because i never applied for it and also i never saw someone taking it.

Campus Life

5

a very large campus with 50 ecre. and the buildings are so nice. gender ratio will be 1:2 female to male. there were sports meets conducted by our college to encourage the sports activities among the students. and also conducts some technical fests regarding to robotics and workshops for web platforms to train students in various domains.

Hostel Facilities

4

hostel was superb, i will give the 9/10 rating to it because there are 2 persons per room only and the food was awesome, heat water and cool water facility also available for the students. and various cuisines are prepared by hostel mess, for the foreign students.

Alumni/Alumna

alumni network is not so bad , some of the senior students will be in touch with the college after completion of their course also, and senior students were helpful in many activities sch as sports, labs, fests, extra corriculur activities. and they are much supportive to junior students.

Exam Structure

exam structure is so nice, there are 2 special descriptive tests and two internal examinations. throughout a semester. except this some lab examinations and other unit wise examinations also conducted by or college to get ready for the final examinations.

Admission

after getting rank in the ecet, i went through the counseling and after i submitted web options councelling. then i chosen my college options as gurunanak college. finally i received a allotment order to get into this gurunanak college. then i went to the main office of the gurunank college with my certificates and the allotment order. then i paid 10000 amount of admission fees. finally i god admitted into this college.

Faculty

4

the faculty were good and well experienced, there is 1:30 ration of faculty to student. some faculty were received phd's and doctorates also. some are freshers. they support to students very well in all the activities regarding to study and co curricular things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Placement Experience:

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
