Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a bit mathematics-inclined in the 2nd year and thereon it is all about statistics and probability. In the pre-final and final year, it is all about your hard work in the field that would drive you to excel in the field.
Internships Opportunities
DTU provides internships to pre-final year students if they excel in their field and there are many companies that offer these programs like black rock, gold scham, and Jane Street with a stipend of approx 70000.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is awesome at DTU. Though having 1000 students in the tech field DTU provides placements to approximately 850 of them with an average package of 2100000 and the M and C branch had a highest package of 82,50,000 last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first year- Rs. 2,29000, For second year-Rs. 2,39,000, For the third year- Rs. 2,59,000, For the fourth year- Rs. 2,69,000, Talking about scholarships, it is given to a very limited number of students if you are in the general category.
Campus Life
The annual fest at DTU is called Engifest which is the 2nd largest fest in North India. It is held in February. DTU provides us with a large variety of books and journals in the library which is centralized by AC.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, hostels are really bad but manageable of course. Hostel life gives you something PGs and flats can't provide. The mess food is satisfactory and the menu is good for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Admission
There are 2 quotas during the admission process. One is inside Delhi whose cutoff was around 22k and one is outside Delhi whose cutoff is 12k. When you are allotted a seat in the counseling round then you have to report to the desired college for physical verification of documents and submit 95000 rupees and the rest during the final procedure of admission.
