i like campus life of lpu u will get to know people from different background
classroom , teachers , events are most interesting
library is also good at lpu, many cafeteria are there in every block

Dislikes

i dont like people robbing clothes in your hostel
non veg food is not allowed inside the campus
mess dinner is not good it should get better

i haven choosen bsc agriculture because i was interested in working with farmers community and i was also passionate about plants faculty ratio was 1:60 faculty in lpu are phd and reasearch qualified, and method of teaching theory is on virtual board like ppt and for practicals labs and field visit are desgined as per curriculum there were 2 term exams in each semester , in total 8semester for bsc agriculture which gives 16term exams, if u prepare well and pay attention in class then its very easy to pass the exams

i was offered internship at swal corporation lted for 3months at 15k stipend per month i was placed in khatabook which is a saas based company upgrad is study aborad portal and drishti ias which provide coaching to the students at an average package of 3lpa

from final year student become eligible for intership and placements various companies like syngenta, bayer , yara , swal nd etc etc visit every year average package is 3lpa 80% of the students get on campus placement im planning to do job after my graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is vey high as compared to other unversities but at the same time its worth it because its the first private university which ICAR accrediated in india. u will be given the chance to appear for the scholorship and u can avail upto 50% scholorship by passing the exam, apart from that u can also take education loan and chances of on campus job is vey less

Campus Life

annual fest like ONE INDIA , ONE WORLD is conducted every year in april, apart from that celebrities visit and various event are there , life at lpu is fun u will get to know people from different countries, diversity, background for books and journal library is there in classroom u will get table chair , projector, ac fan etc lpu is very good in sports on the campus u will get sports club gym and sports enrollment according to your choice , sports quota is also there through which u can also get admission and scholorship, it can be fully funded various student organisations are there in lpu working on various cause , according to your interest u can join any of them

Hostel Facilities

in hostel room u will get beds, ac, fan, light , table chair, gyeser, bathroom , balcony meal provided in the mess is pretty average , breakfast and snacks are best u will get north indian and south indian according to your choice hostel fees is pretty high in lpu nearby loaclity for pg is law gate, u can also live in nearby villages lie hardaspur chaheru mhaheru phagwara etc which is [reety cheap

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

eligiblity of the course is like u should have min 60% in your 12th science stream after that u will be given the opportunity to appear for scholorship exam and then i have given lpunest entrance exam which gives me a scholorship of 20% , u can get scholorship upto 50% depends on the phase u are applying in

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation. Additionaly the sheer vol of students taking admissions so such a massive batch size for resources and individual attention can be stressful compared to smaller, state label collages....Read More

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
