What Students Say

Likes

Admission process, well educated facilities
Library, college clubs, workshops, labs
Hostel, rooms, teaching style, helping attitude towards students

Dislikes

Placements facility quality is very poor.
Overpressure to study by the lecture but it is good for us

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering for my graduation. There are 20+ well educated teachers in our branch. All are qualified for IITs. The way of their teaching to students is totally irreplaceable. They also take extra classes for problem solving as well as finishing the topics.

Class Size: 5000Course Fees: INR 31000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Basically, you have to do an internship by yourself by taking references from companies and online platforms. The college is not providing any internships to the students. Although college provides skills for students just as AutoCAD, Dassault system, robotics, and cybersecurity.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite average. Students got the highest package of 800000 per year in my branch. And also the average package is 300000. 70% of students are placed in 2023. I am continuing my study for the gate examination and hoping for a GD rank to do a masters

Fees and Financial Aid

31000 for the course fees in 1 yr. And a 1500 for exam fees in one semester is there. When we compare my college with a private college they take almost 1.5lakhs for 1 yr. Compared to my college takes only 31000 for the general category

Campus Life

Many clubs are there on college campuses for extra curriculum growth. A large football and a cricket field are there to play. Approx 10000 + journals are subscribed to by our college. Those who want to research can.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is good . Well maintained. But the food quality is quite average. Not all times they give you good food . The bathrooms are well cleaned on daily basis . 14000 cost for staying hostel for 1 year and 30000 approx for food for 1 year .

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Students who secured a good rank in jee mains are selected for joining the college in different departments. Eligibility - jee mains qualified. Based on your rank you will selected for the branch that you applied for. Application forms are in the college website portal.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
