Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. It is a circuital branch, which means it is considered as one of the top branches. faculty-student ratio is also good here. It is 1:40 in Nit Agartala. Faculties are well qualified here you will get faculties with the minimum rank of assistant professor. In one semester you have to appear for two main exams which are mid-term and end-term. And class test happens after the completion of each chapter.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are also very good here. You will get this opportunity from your 5th semester or 3rd year. Many companies offered for internships and projects last year. And in 4th year you have the opportunity to involve in a project.
Placement Experience
Placements are also good here. Here are a lot of opportunities for campus placement. Every year a lot of companies like TCS, ORACLE, Microsoft, etc like big companies come for campus placements. Last year the highest package offered here was 58 lpa. More than 80% of students are placed every year from this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are also good compared to other private engineering colleges. It is because Nit Agartala is a government college and also a college of national importance. Here, you will get a scholarship on the basis of your annual family income. If your annual family income is less than 1lakh you will get full tuition fee waiver and if it is under 5lakh you will 2/3rd remission in tution fee.
Campus Life
Moksha is the annual fest of this college. It is conducted in the month of November every year. And also tech fest and cultural fest are also conducted once a year. This college has a very big central library where you will find all types of books and journals available in large quantities, that you can use to enhance your knowledge. It has the biggest sports complex where you can play all types of sports with ease. Many types of clubs are also present in this college to give a platform for students to express their interests in different fields.
Admission
Admission to this college is done through JEE Mains. First of all, you have to appear for jee mains and have to secure a good percentile in it. After that, you have to sit in joosa and csab counseling then after you will get this nit or many others nits and iiits and gftis. There is a reservation facility for all students coming from different backgrounds by their category.
