Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics and communication because it is an evergreen course, I can sit for tech placements as well as core placements and I can even take any government job exam. This course provides so many opportunities.
Internships Opportunities
Companies that visit campus provide internship opportunities in the third year. The college also provides a University student internship program in which some student is selected to do work for college and get paid.
Placement Experience
Placement statistics are good, many students get placement from good companies. You can find the number of companies and offers made from dtu site. The highest package was around 1.24 cr last year (2022). The average package varies from branch to branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year fees are 224000. Second year fees 229000. Third year fees 239000. Fourth-year fees are 239000. You can avail of scholarships on the basis of your financial condition, it you are from a weak financial background you can avail of scholarships. Every year many companies come to campus to offer jobs and the placement ratio is decent.
Campus Life
There are many societies and clubs in the college, you can pursue your interests like dancing, singing, debating, Robotics, etc. The campus is big and the infrastructure is also good. There is also a cultural committee council that organizes fest-like manifest in the month of February. The sports facilities are good, you can play many sports and can also represent DTU in other colleges of India.
Admission
I first gave Jee Main in which I got 97.5 percentile which was enough for my selection into B.Tech program (electronics and communication). The admission process starts once you fill JAC Delhi form in which you are allotted seats, you have to appear for a document verification physical in college on the given date.
