What Students Say

Likes

The best thing about college is there events college lifeis awesome
Faculties are decent and well behaved. There nature is good
Seniors are helpful if you initiate talking them wheather it is about placement academics

Dislikes

Some have groups like local gujjars try to avoid them
.......... Very badinfra There is old canteen and some students are dangerous with gun etc
There are no acs in classroom so you may feel uncomfortable if you like to live in ac

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are helpful. The teaching method is good. There are 2 semesters. Every semester there are external exams after classes end conducted by Aktu. In every semester there were 2 internal which are called cae1 and cae 2. It is not difficult if you are regular.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 115603 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are decent internship opportunities, you can get internships in 3rd year of college and you can get PPO from that company otherwise there are so many groups of seniors that help you to get internships.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement in 3rd and 4th year. The placement here is decent. Average placement is around 5 lpa median is around 4 to 5 lpa. The highest placement was 48 lpa last year by a company named Autodesk.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are tuition fee waiver seats by AKTU. 5 percent of seats are reserved for those students whose income is less than 6 LPA. And have a good rank in JEE Mains. There is also a scholarship provided by the UP government for that income should be less than 2lpa and for sc/st it could be up to 2.5 lpa.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our college. Like gdsc-gcet Google Developer student club and dance club, singing club, shayari club literally there are every club you name it you will get it. If you are interested in coding, then gdsc would be best for you. The library is good with lots of books.

Admission

No, I do not think that there is any need to change the admission process. There is a good balance of both admission through Aktu counseling and through management quota as well. Management quota has 15% reserved seats. The admission process is easy and smooth.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
