What Students Say

Likes

Liked the campus of the college and affordable fee structure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I Chose a B.Tech in Electrical engineering because I wanted to apply for government jobs that require fields like electrical. The faculty and students ratio is good you get a teacher for every 30 to 40 students. Every teacher is well qualified and the teaching methods are also good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

You get internship opportunities in the 3rd year. lf your course and companies like Cognizant, Paytm Samsung give internship opportunities to students. Projects in coding and Data Science are given to solve.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students can apply for internships after 3rd year but job placements come in the 4th year before final exams. Companies like Amazon Cognizant Genpact IBM Infosys Wipro visit the college for hire. The highest package is 36lpa and the average is 6lpa. 60 to 70 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable compared to other private engineering colleges. You also get a scholarship from UP govt. If you're a resident of UP. Campus placement and jobs are also good 60 to 70 percent of students get placed and the average package is between 5 to 6lpa.

Campus Life

Annual fests and welcome parties like prarambh are conducted from time to time. Many Students participate in many programs and fests. There are enough books in the library for each and every student from each branch. Classrooms are also good, clean and all equipment is working. There are special clubs for sports music acting management etc.

Admission

I took admission through direct admission at the college level. Didn't give any tests or interviews. Eligibility Criteria in my branch is 50% aggregate in PCM in Class 12th. I found the Application form on the College website.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

My CUET score isn't good enough for my desired college.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
