DTU -- in and out

I choose this course because this was the course I got allotted to me through my jee rank. Faculty student ratio is fine, I think it is around 1:15 something like that. Most Faculty is good, they teach quite well and also are very patient with the students. In a year, we have two semesters, in a semester we have two times exams one mid-sem(of 20-25 marks) and end-sem(40-50 marks) which mark the end of a semester. Exams are quite easy to pass if you focus even a little bit in class and do pyqs from fresources website(which is like a blessing to students one week prior exams). Getting good cgpa is a different ball game altogether, you have to pay attention in class and have to study 10 days before mid sem and 18-20 days before end sem to get 9+ cgpa.

As I said earlier, companies come to campus but internships opportunities are quite limited. Not many students get internships. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, sprinkler come for internships and offer stipends of 1 lakh per month. Sprinkler offered the highest stipend of 2.5 lakh per month.

In DTU, at the end of fourth semester companies come to campus for internships. Getting an internship is quite hard and only few students get it but placement opportunities are huge. Placement season start with the commencement of fourth year and many companies came which makes it easy for students to get placed. MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Amazon also visit the campus while the competition for them is quite high and few students get into these companies but there are always sone companies like sprinkler which provides the same package as these Faang companies. So, as I said placement opportunities are huge and about 95 Percent students get placed. The highest package is 1 crore per annum(CTC) and mefian package is 11 lakh.

I think the fees is quite high in regards to infrastructure. But there are many scholarships which you can avail like Post matric scholarship which can be found on E-district website. Also, you can also apply for College funded scholarships. Also there are many WhatsApp group which provides information regarding scholarship so join them as soon as you enter college.

The life at the campus is quite peaceful. Something is going on at all times somewhere in the campus. There are many different clubs like Coding clubs, classical dance, bhangra etc, you can choose based on your interest. The annual fest is ENGIFEST which happens every year in Feb. It usually go on for three days and everyone is in party and enjoyment mood. It is like a festival. The annual tech fest is Invictus which also is in Feb. You can follow these groups on insta to get the latest update. Classroom in old buildings are fine but the new academic block which has just been open recently is quite good. Seats are comfortable and projector is also quite fine.

I took Jee mains to get into DTU. It is an entrance exam that happens every two times a year. It has physics, chemistry and Maths each of 120 marks which makes a total of 360. You have to get around 85-95 marks to pass the exam and be eligible for Jee advanced. The passing marks are different for each year but it is around somewhere that I have mentioned above. Through jee mains, you can get into many good colleges like NIT ,IIIT etc. For IIT's , you have to give Jee advanced. Jee main is mostly conducted in Jan(1st Attempt) and then April(2nd attempt). You can find all the info regarding exam on NTA website. All the information regarding exam date, results are uploaded on this website. I think they can improve their website so that it can manage large traffic because sometimes it just doesn't work.
