Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer engineering because of the placements and scope this field provides . The faculty student ratio of our college is about 1:40 which is considered good keeping in mind large intake.Faculties are mostly PHD graduates in our college and they are pretty chill.A semester is of 6 months and term exams are easy to pass if one starts studying one week before exam.
Internships Opportunities
apple, google microsoft, atlassian, uber, intuit, morgan stanley etc Internship stipend is greater than 50k for CSE students usually, some even get as high as 1.7 lac per month like uber. the projects are usually software development
Placement Experience
From 6th sem onwards companies start visting campus for placements and 3rd sem onwards for internship. Some big names are Google, tower research, apple, microsoft, atlassian, intuit, morgan stanley, goldman sachs etc HIghest pkg: 1.8 cr by amazon 75% placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for btech for 2027 passout batch is 229000 per year and it increments 10k every year till graduation.College provides 25%,50%,100% scholarship to financially weak students whose family income is below 5 lacs,
Campus Life
Engifest is one of the biggest fest in asia.More than 1 lakh students attend it every year.Dtu got a large central library with plenty of books and journals.All classroms are well equiped with AC and projector.There is a lage sports complex with football and cricket ground with indoor stadium.There are many student society like IEEE , MACS, Lets talk etc
Admission
The admission is given on the basis of rank of Jee Mains for Btech. The application form is released on official website of jac delhi in late june.The application fees in year 2023 was 2500. 85% of seats are reserved for delhi students and i have also got admission on basis of obc quota. Applicants must have minimum of 60% in 12th boards. admission process is quite good and efficient.
