DTU: Heaven of Fun and Placements

I am in DTU( formerly known as DCE) and my first year is gonna end tomorrow, before my admission in DTU, i too had such questions in my mind, but now i have seen it myself, DTU has one of the most finest teachers. Unlike DU or IP universities, the teachers here are always on time, they never cancel the classes, but if in any case they did, they use to compensate it in next few days. The teachers who taught my batch, taught us with great effort, even if a single student out of a batch of 60 students missed onto something, they used to clarify that particular thing then and there. They always taught the concepts and later few questions were practiced. They create a friendly bond with the students and are always up for your doubts whenever you want. I can definitely say by the first year experience that DTU is great in studies and quality of professors.

Most of the placements happen off-campus only, which is obvious as its B.Des. course. The highest package according to my HOD is 1.2 crores. Students from first year also get internships in college. Top roles are product design, fashion, interaction etc.

Yes, its a privilege to be studying in the Delhi Technological University. Something very few get to experience. Delhi Technological University ain’t a university, its a family, its a feeling. Allow me to take you on a journey across my College! This is what our campus looks from the top! Life is pretty fun. You get to be whatever you want to. From artists, musicians, singers, orators, dancers, writers, programmers, athletes you’ll find everyone damn talent over here! Don’t rule the students of DTU out by saying they’re ‘studious’. The most famous spot in the campus, is the Open Air Theatre (OAT) Also, this is the place where you find all the peace you need in your life, while you sit with your girlfriend, calmly on a bench. Being lost in deep talks. It’s a couple’s spot afterall, in the night :P If you’re in DTU, you can never get bored out. Every now and then you’ll see a fest coming your way. Entertainment dose

For admission to its flagship BTech courses, DTU considers JEE Main scores. The university releases a merit list based on the JEE Main scores. Students are called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list. JAC Delhi conducts the entire counseling process. Have a valid JEE Main score Have at least 60% marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination Be under 25 years of age as of October 1, 2023 The minimum eligibility criteria for DTU admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education. Final admission is based on the score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
