Likes

Campus infrastructure is awesome. Library is great too.
Fests are a great vent out period for students to relax.
Placements are at on par with most tier 1 colleges

Dislikes

CSE curriculum is not well updated. They still teach C language.
Faculty student ration is heavily skewed and needs remedy
They need to devote more on encouraging research and innovation

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is always on demand. It is the most trending one and excites me a lot. Faculty student ratio is above 65. Teachers are well qualified and equipped with adequate knowledge. They mainly resort to ppts to teach. mid term exams were held after two months of joining the college, and end term after one month of mid sems. Passing was not at all difficult. Basic attention in class will get you through.

Internships Opportunities

College offers a variety of internship opportunities. They even run a Campus on wheels program where students re recruited as interns to teach poor kids on basic awareness in various tech domains. Other leading institutions also offer inter opportunities. You can also work under a lab in DTU as an intern. Stipend offered can vary around 20K.

Placement Experience

Students can avail placements from 6th sem onwards. Sprinklr, HCL and other tech and non tech companies do visit. Highest package was 85 lakh Percentage of students placed is above 80% I plan to appear for campus placements after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees will buffer around 2.5 lakhs. As such there are no irregular hikes. Apart from it , the cost is minimal. You won't even need books to be purchased in first year. A laptaop will do the needful. A lot of financial assistance is provided to disadvantaged students.

Campus Life

Annual fest is Engifest, conducted in February. Literary fest Yuvaan is held in Feb too. You will find all necessary books and prominent journals in library. Classrooms are well equiped with ACs, projectors.

Admission

Admission was entirely done through JEE Mains and JAC councilling. Eligibility is 12th passed in PCM with min. 60% marks. Application form can be found at JAC website. It is released after declaration of JEE Mains session 2 result. The admission process is fine and completely transparent.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
