A college with college life

I choose Information Technology's bcoz my interest is in tech branches . In DTU faculty: student ratio is vary department to department, in some departments no. Of students are high and in another departments no.students is low so ratio is not well maintained. All facilities are well qualified for their teaching role. Exams in DTU are not that tough you can crack that if you study right things and doing all past years and assignments.

On campus internship opportunities are available but they are not that good bcoz competition is high and less companies come for internships, students are smart enough is get intership off campus they circulates internships programs, college alumni are good to get refferals. For internships they want a good development project and DSA .

Campus placements at DTU are very good, from 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements, approx 300-400 companies comes every year for every domains , Tech , Non-Tech , Business, Finance etc. Highest packages come from tech companies for SDE profile , Average package for my branch is 23 lakh per annum. Approx 90-95% students in my branch gets placed, And for whole college approx 80-90% students get placed. And my plan is to do a job in tech field after getting my degree.

Fee at DTU for my program is approx 10 lakh ,ist year fee is less and Inc with years but fee is fixed already in fee structure,they have scholarship called DTU financial assistance scholarship. In DTU they have internship program call USIP whose stipend is 3000.

Every year DTU culture council conduct freshers party, then every year we have our cultural fest "Engifest","Yuvaan" and tech fest "Invictus" in the month of February every year. Our library is very big it contains many books & journals related to engeneering, Business, Finance etc. Classroom are fully AC , desks are good , there is a projector in every classroom. Sports complex is very big in DTU , have all types of outdoor games, there is cricket ground ,football ground, badminton, volleyball ground. We have a indoor game complex also , many type of indoor games are there. There is a website called fresource it is run by students , this basically a study resources site .

In DTU admission in BTech program is only through jee main and through jac Delhi councelling. Jac Delhi application opens just after the jee advance, application fee is around 1500-2000. I am from OBC caste so I avail this benefit in my admission , just needed a Delhi state OBC caste certificate to avail this reservation.
