One of the best things about Delhi Technological University is it's vibrant campus life with various clubs, societies etc
The food at Delhi Technological University is very good and tasty
The environment is just so good to study, play, sing, dance etc

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in chemical engineering. Every faculty was perfect as they should be. Should ratio was something I didn't expect,way too many boys and less girls, every faculty had a very educated background. The exams were doable if you practiced what you studied and did some previous year questions,but couple subjects were very hard.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 236000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Sprinklr offered a CTC of 30 LPA, Microsoft offered a CTC of 50 LPA, Infosys offered a CTC of 10 LPA, Uber offered a CTC of 38 LPA, , Qualcomm offered a CTC of 27 LPA, Fractal offered a CTC of 31 LPA, Zomato offered a CTC of 20-40 LPA and many more companies came with various offers. I don't know about stipend though.

Placement Experience

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited DTU like Microsoft, Infosys, Sprinklr, Qualcomm, TCS, Flipkart, Synopsys, Paytm and many many more with a number of offers. Every branch have different highest and average package like in IT highest and average package(2023) was 82 lakh and 25 lakh and in Biotechnology highest and average was 31 lakh and 10.5 lakh Almost. Percentage of student getting placed is also different in each branch like in CSE it was 90% and in Environmental it was 50 but the overall average is around 85%.I still don't have a precise plan yet

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am in first year,still haven't got any scholarship or job at campus.The fee structure includes tution fee, student welfare fee, facilities and services charges, economically weaker section fund, examination fee and medi-claim of student

Campus Life

Life is very enjoyable at the campus. Engifest is the annual cultural festival of DTU(in the 2nd week of Feb) and Invictus is the tech festival of DTU(before engifest). You can find any book you want in the library and issue it anytime you want.I have no idea in sports section as I have yet to join in sports FEC/VAC, but everything is available if you want something to play with.

Admission

The admission process wasn't that long,it was straight and simple.I appeared for JEE exam and qualified for a seat in DTU and the cut off for chemical engineering was 72705. The applications were available on the website, all we had to do was take a print of whatever was required and fill it and then submit in the councelling process accordingly to their assigned dates and all. I had no reservation benefits. It is good as it is, no improvement required, everything went smoothly

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Nsut college life

Likes

You get to meet different kind students from all over the northern states
Fest and events are organized at huge scale and you get a lot of exposure
Society is culture is very strong and you get huge opportunities

Dislikes

Academic is tough, depending on the brach the curriculum can get hectic
Teachers are strict and entry in college is forbidden after 6pm
Attendance criteria is strict due to which you dont get enough time for other things

Placement Experience:

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Reality of Delhi university Faculty of technology

Likes

Faculty members are very good and friendly behaviour in nature
College timing is good 09.00 AM to 06.00Pm but gap in between lecture 2 to 3 hrs
Saturday and Sunday holiday it's a very good in college life

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good bcoz our classes in maharshi kannad bhawan
Our college not provided hostel bcoz our building is under construction

Placement Experience:

Our college is started in 2023 So there was no placement My seniors were doing internship in DRDO Google as well as multinational companies My plan is to crack gate exam in 3rd yr and UPSC ESE exam in final year

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

Reality of our DSEU okhla 2 sub campus.

No any attandance required 75 percent mandatory this type
Exam is easy also and faculty is supportive
I love the main campus of university established in dwarka sector 10

Dislikes

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

I recommend for diploma course to persuing from DSEU university and btech from gb pant campus only this is best campus only for bachelor of technology in computer science engineering, placement is also good for this college

Likes

Vast campus - one of the biggest campus in Delhi, great greenery , feels free to roam around
Exclusive course- among the fewest government colleges which provide chemical engineering
Less explored field- field is relatively new and evergreen, if done with perseverance, you can get great jobs

Dislikes

Long classes- a very hectic time table during the first semester
Too many Assingments- teachers give way too many Assignments
Exams start late in comparison to other government colleges

Placement Experience:

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.

Placement Experience:

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
