Course Curriculum Overview
The college is situated in delhi and has therefore a good connectivity with the headquarters of the big companies that offer tech placements . Student ratio is bad i.e. one girl in comparison with 23 boys . Faculty is great and has almost every professor is mind blowing in his/her subject except one two . Two time exams mid sem and end sem and are of moderate level.
Placement Experience
Placement are great and some students i.e. that are among top 10% of the crowd get placements worth more than 50 lpa in top prodct based comapnies like google . But cgpa is important in this college because they eliminate the students that have less cgpa beacuse of high crowd in college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of almost every engineering college is very high and dtu being a delhi - government controlled has high fees and almost 15 lakhs for the four year course. I didn't fet any scholarship because i am general category student.
Campus Life
Campus is great and has a large number if trees and therefore the air is fresh although the college is situted in delhi . The campus area is more than 200 acres and has every department that is mandatory for a college
Hostel Facilities
I am first year student and the hostel they provide to first year students is more like a flat . We stay 5 students in a single room which is divided in three rooms (2+2+1) and a common bathroom, washroom and kitechen is available. All the facilities are available
Admission
So i gave the hoont entrance exam (JEE) Mains to get admission in Delhi technological university (DTU) and moreover the computer science branch . I got 99.6 percentile in jee mains to get admission . The exam is conducted by national testing agency (NTA) and it charges approximately 1000 Rs per exam and 2 exams are conducted in a academic year and most probably first exam is conducted in january and second exam in april after boards. The counselling is held by JAC Delhi and it preserves 85% seats as a quota for delhi region students which is not fair enough and everything is fine otherwise in all aspects .
