Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum here is quite better than other other engineering colleges as they introduce course related subjects from the very first year. Most of the faculty members are interactive and keep the class active while some makes it hard to sit in class. Overall every faculty holds great knowledge and helpful for doubts. Mid semester and End semester exams takes place every semester. They aren't very difficult to score good, one can get good marks by starting studies 2 weeks prior the exams.
Internships Opportunities
College provides great internship opportunities for students. Lots of companies visit college for hiring interns. Major companies coming to college are Amazon, Adobe, Samsung, Microsoft. Hiring of interns follow a procedure of test and interviews. Overall if you have good enough skills you sure will get an internship.
Placement Experience
Campus placements here had been really great since very long. The highest package here is INR 1.02 crores per annum. This year's highest package is INR 82.05 LPA. Average package is INR 15.16 LPA. Students become eligible for placements from third year of their college. Some of the big companies visiting for placements are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, etc. Placements for tech students are remarkable but for non-tech and core students the placement ratio is not up to the mark.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees here is 2,29,000 rupees which increases every year by an amount around 10,000. Annual tution fee here is somewhat 9.5 lakh and including hostel and mess it's around 14,00,000. Scholarships and financial assistance are provided to some students every year by college.
Campus Life
3-5 Events takes place every month here. Engifest is the three day cultural fest of DTU which is one of the largest cultural fest of India, other than that Invictus is the annual tech fest of DTU. Campus infrastructure is quite beautiful itself, which provides healthy environment for students. DTU sports complex is quite big and includes almost every sport. It has an indoor and an outdoor gym too. College have a really good number of active societies, so the college is lively most of the times. There are many good outlets near college for parties and fun, also campus is placed in rohini which is connected with every part of Delhi with metro. Overall the life at campus is really fun.
Admission
The admission for Btech program in DTU takes place through JEE Mains, which is an all India enginnering college entrance exam. It takes place twice a year for now, one in January-February and the other in March-April. Around 2.5 lakh student qualify JEE Mains of which a really small number of student can join DTU, number of students joining DTU this year was around 2500.
